Electrical Bonding Splice for Solar Panel Rail Guides

In various representative aspects, an assembly for connecting and electrically bonding two solar panel rail guides. More specifically, the assembly provides a splice that slides within two solar panel rail guides and includes an elongated spring element that is inserted into an elongated slot in the splice and enables the two solar panel rail guides to be electrically bonded together when various bonding techniques are used to allow portions of the spring to penetrate the oxidation layers of the inner surfaces of the rail guides as they are joined together. Another embodiment that utilizes a bonding element that is inserted into an elongated slot of a splice and also enables two solar panel rail guides to be electrically bonded when the rail guides are joined.

A terminal module (10) has a metal case (20) with a ceiling wall (21), a bottom wall (51) facing the ceiling wall (21), opposed side walls (23) extending from the ceiling wall (21) toward the bottom wall (51) and retaining pieces (24). A coil spring (40) is sandwiched between the ceiling wall (21) and the bottom wall (51). The retaining pieces (24) face each other in a direction perpendicular to a facing direction of the side walls (23) and project toward the bottom wall (51) from the periphery of the ceiling wall (21). The side walls (23) and the retaining pieces (24) are disposed alternately on the periphery of the ceiling wall (21). A spring receiving portion (26) formed by the ceiling wall (21), the side walls (23) and the retaining pieces (24) receives an end part of the coil spring (40) on the side of the ceiling wall (21).

Conductor assembly structure for rail-type terminal device

A conductor assembly structure for a rail-type terminal device includes a conductor assembly and an insulating housing. The conductor assembly structure can reduce manufacturing waste and has a larger contact surface and a better electric conduction effect. The conductor assembly has a base portion that can be pivotally connected with a conductive connector, and a first area and a second area connected to the base portion. The first area and the second area are respectively formed with a bowed portion and a first section and a second section connected to the bowed portion to be snapped onto a grounding mounting rail. At least one of the first area and the second area is provided with a load arm and an elastic member connected to the load arm for increasing the elastic fixing effect (force) of the first section and/or the second section on the grounding mounting rail.

SINGLE ELEMENT WIRE TO BOARD CONNECTOR
20180006383 · 2018-01-04 ·

A single element electrical connector includes a single conductive contact element formed into a cage structure having a wire insert end and a wire contact end along a longitudinal centerline axis of the connector. The cage structure defines an upper pick-up surface having a surface area suitable for placement of a suction nozzle of a vacuum transfer device, as well as a pair of contact tines biased towards the centerline axis to define a contact pinch point for an exposed core of a wire inserted into the connector. A contact surface is defined by a member of the cage structure for electrical mating contact with a respective contact element on a component on which the connector is mounted.
