A plug connector arrangement having a plug connector and a cable connected thereto, at least one inner conductor and an outer conductor surrounding the inner conductor, wherein the outer conductor of the cable is electrically connected to an outer conductor housing of the plug connector. The plug connector arrangement additionally has a sleeve part which surrounds the inner conductor, has approximately the same inner diameter (D) as the outer conductor (34) of the cable, adjoins a front axial end (A) of the outer conductor, and continues a shielding of the inner conductor in the direction of the front cable end.

Method for crimping a cable terminal onto an electric cable includes providing an electric cable having an outer insulation sheath and at least one conductive strand with a sheathed portion, and providing a terminal having shrink wings and provide a gasket having a sealing portion and a shrink portion. The method also includes stripping the electrical cable so that a stripped portion is formed, positioning the shrinkage portion of the joint so that it directly overlaps the stripped portion of the cable without the shrinkage portion overlapping the sheathed portion of the cable, and fully crimping the shrink wings onto the shrink portion of the joint without the shrink wings covering the sheathed portion of the cable.
Assembly of an electric cable with a cable terminal
Method for crimping a cable terminal onto an electric cable includes providing an electric cable having an outer insulation sheath and at least one conductive strand with a sheathed portion, and providing a terminal having shrink wings and provide a gasket having a sealing portion and a shrink portion. The method also includes stripping the electrical cable so that a stripped portion is formed, positioning the shrinkage portion of the joint so that it directly overlaps the stripped portion of the cable without the shrinkage portion overlapping the sheathed portion of the cable, and fully crimping the shrink wings onto the shrink portion of the joint without the shrink wings covering the sheathed portion of the cable.

A wire stripping die is configured to be coupled to a crimping tool. The stripping die includes a die body, a first ridge, and a second ridge. The die body includes a first side, a second side, and a groove extending at least partially between the first side and the second side. The groove extends along an axis. The first ridge protrudes from a surface of the groove toward the axis by a first distance. The first ridge extends along at least a portion of the perimeter of the groove and extends at least partially around the axis. An object is to provide a wire straightening device and a wire straightening method, with which it is possible to automatically set the roller spacing in accordance with the type of the wire and to further adjust the roller spacing during operation. A wire straightening device (20) includes a preset value obtaining device that obtains a preset value of roller spacing, which is predetermined for each type of wire (2); a roller spacing automatic setting device that drives an actuator (26a) so that the roller spacing becomes equal to the preset value when the type of the wire (2) is input; and a roller spacing changing device that changes the roller spacing based on an operation by the operator while retaining the preset value during operation of a wire processing device (1).

Method for installing a pulling head assembly
A workstation and method for the installation of a pulling head assembly onto one or more conductors of a cabling system are provided. The workstation incorporates one or more of: a conductor clamp that holds the conductors of the cabling system in place during the installation of the pulling head assembly; a cutting guide having indicia marks that indicate the lengths to which to cut the conductors in order to achieve a staggered pattern of pulling eyes attached to the conductors in the pulling head assembly; a stripping tool that is used to remove a portion of the insulation from the terminal end of each conductor so that the end of the conductor may be inserted into the pulling eye; and a crimping tool that is used to crimp the pulling eyes onto the terminal ends of each of the conductors.
