Methods and apparatuses for robotic breaker racking
Methods of operating a robotic breaker-racking apparatus are provided. A method of operating a robotic breaker-racking apparatus includes controlling a motor to drive the robotic breaker-racking apparatus to a first circuit breaker. The method includes accessing the first circuit breaker via remote or autonomous control of the robotic breaker-racking apparatus. Moreover, the method includes visually inspecting, via a camera of the robotic breaker-racking apparatus, a first relay of the first circuit breaker and/or a second relay of a second circuit breaker. Related robotic breaker-racking apparatuses are also provided.

Safety device of medium-high voltage system with power module
A safety device for medium-high voltage system is disclosed and includes a cabinet, a power module and a metal cover plate. The cabinet includes an accommodation seat connected to the medium-voltage charged region and having an opening. The power module is detachably disposed in the accommodation seat through the opening. The metal cover plate is pivotally connected to the accommodation seat and grounded. When the metal cover plate is in the first position, the opening is closed and the medium-voltage charged region is shielded. When the power module is set in the accommodation seat, the metal cover plate is pivotally rotated to a second position, and the power module is electrically connected to the medium-voltage charged region. When the power module is detached from the accommodation seat, the metal cover plate is rotated to the first position, and the opening is closed to shield the medium-voltage charged region.
MOTOR CONTROL CENTER CIRCUIT BREAKER REPLACEMENT KIT AND METHOD
A motor control center circuit breaker replacement kit includes a standoff having a first plurality of mounting holes corresponding to existing holes on a bucket of the motor control center and a second plurality of holes corresponding to existing holes on a circuit breaker, a door interface panel having a third plurality of holes corresponding to existing holes on a door of the motor control center, the door interface panel having an opening formed therein having a size and shape corresponding to a handle operator associated with the circuit breaker, and a safety latch having a slot structured to receive a tab of the handle operator.
Coordinating installation and connection of a motor control center subunit having moveable line contacts
A system and method are provided for coordinating the installation and removal a motor control center subunit with the power connection and interruption thereof. A system of interlocks and indicators causes an operator to install a motor control center subunit into a motor control center, and connect supply and control power thereto, in a particular order. Embodiments of the invention may prevent actuation of line contacts of the bucket, and shield the line contacts, until the bucket is fully installed in the motor control center. Other embodiments also prevent circuit breaker closure until the line contacts are engaged with a bus of the motor control center.
