Underarm gang operated vacuum break switch

An underarm gang operated vacuum break switch (underarm switch) has an electrically live portion under a mounting arm, which provides advantages over the standard vacuum break switch, which have the electrically live portion above the mounting arm. Because the non-electrified mounting arm is above the electrified portion, the underarm switch is safer for perching birds and other wildlife. The nature of the underarm switch also provides other benefits including a disconnect blade that when opened creates a visual gap to ensure electrical discontinuity along with a safety locking arm tied to deactivating the underarm switch. Adding to the safety measures is a visual indicator that shows an electrician when the switch is live and safe to open the disconnect blade. Other safety measures include a shock absorber assembly and inertia slowing mass protecting electrical contacts within the vacuum break switch from failing.

A switchgear includes a modular optical monitoring system for examining switchgear switching positions and at least one isolating switch accommodated in an encapsulated housing. The encapsulated housing is disposed in an installation housing. The encapsulated housing has a first transparent window in one region and a fiber-optic system leads from an outer side of the installation housing to the first transparent window.

Electrical energy transmission device and life cycle management

An electrical energy transmission device for the transmission of electrical energy has a fluid-holding chamber. An electrically insulating fluid is contained in the fluid-holding chamber. The electrically insulating fluid is, at least in part, air-drawn from the surroundings of the electrical energy transmission device. The insulating fluid is used for insulating phase conductors in order to avoid short circuit conditions.

GAS-INSULATED SWITCHGEAR

Provided is a gas-insulated switchgear having a circuit breaker tank with a reduced size. The gas-insulated switchgear includes: a connection conductor connected to two or more power cables, for each phase, inside the circuit breaker tank; a solid-insulated bus placed outside the circuit breaker tank and connected to the connection conductor via a connection bushing; and an instrument current transformer attached to the solid-insulated bus.

Vehicle-mounted mobile transformer with a position-adjustable lead-out bushing

The present invention belongs to the technical field of mobile transformer substation, and in particular relates to a vehicle-mounted mobile transformer with a position-adjustable lead-out bushing. In view of the shortage that, when the existing conventional transformer is applied to a vehicle-mounted mobile transformer substation, the transportation dimension exceeds the regulated width, height and limit, the present invention adopts the following technical solution: a vehicle-mounted mobile transformer with a position-adjustable lead-out bushing, comprising: a transformer body; and a high-voltage lead-out bushing, the high-voltage lead-out bushing comprising an oil-SF6 gas bushing, an SF6 gas-air bushing and a connecting device, the oil-SF6 gas bushing being mounted on a high-voltage bushing base, the connecting device being mounted on the oil-SF6 gas bushing, the SF6 gas-air bushing being mounted on the connecting device, and the SF6 gas-air bushing being rotatable relative to the connecting device such that the position of the SF6 gas-air bushing is adjustable. The present invention has the beneficial effects that the SF6 gas-air bushing is rotatable, the position is adjustable and thus the transportation requirement of high-voltage (such as 220 kV) equipment is met.

GAS-INSULATED SWITCHGEAR

The present disclosure makes it possible to reduce intervals between device units placed in a gas-insulated switchgear, thus achieving size reduction of the gas-insulated switchgear. A gas-insulated switchgear includes: a device housing having an operation door; a sealed container placed inside the device housing; and a circuit breaker unit and a ground switch unit attached to a side surface of the sealed container opposed to the operation door, via flange portions. A distance from the operation door to the side surface of the sealed container opposed to the operation door is different between a part where the circuit breaker unit is attached and a part where the ground switch unit is attached, so as to avoid interference between the circuit breaker unit and the ground switch unit.
