Installation of cables in an array of ducts
Method for installing a cable comprising: a first phase with at least the steps of: introducing the cable into a first duct, attaching at least a first pig to the cable, introducing a liquid at first pressure and first flow into the first duct, stopping the cable when, or after, its foremost end has reached an exit of the first duct, a second phase with at least the steps of: attaching at least a second pig to the cable, introducing again a liquid at first pressure and first flow into the first duct, introducing the liquid at second pressure and second flow, compensating, at a location between the first duct and second duct, for a difference in flow or volume of liquid.

Submersible habitat for the repair of subsea cable
A submersible habitat 100 for the repair of subsea cable 11, the habitat comprising a cable maintenance environment 108 being suitable for receiving a portion of the subsea cable under repair 115 while the subsea cable 11 is submerged. The submersible habitat further comprising raising and/or lowering component 25 configured for raising and/or lowering the submersible habitat 100 relative to the subsea cable 11. The entire repair is carried out within the submersible habitat 100 without the requirement to transport any portion of the subsea cable 11 to the surface.

Dry-mate wet-design branch joint and method for realizing a subsea distribution of electric power for wet cables
Termination assembly for three-phase high voltage submarine cable(s) (1a-c), has an open enclosure (10) with at least two cable lead-in (3a-c) located at one end (16) of the enclosure, at least six termination units (21-29) within the enclosure for receiving three phase conductors per cable, respectively.
SUBSEA CABLE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A subsea cable repair system comprises a first wet mate connector part (11) and a second wet mate connector part (14). The first and second wet mate connector parts comprise a receptacle and a plug. Separate lengths of oil filled hose (12) are attached to one end of each of the first and second connector parts (11, 14) and a cable termination (13) is attached to the other end of each of the separate lengths of oil filled hose.
Cable Protection
Protection for a cable, piping or tubing comprises a bend stiffener. This includes at least one element comprising a tubular wall having a substantially smooth inner surface, which defines circumferential recesses along at least part of its length. Each recess has an open end at the circumference of the wall, a base, and sloping sides that are closer to each other at the base than at the open end. Each recess has a depth of no more than 50% of the thickness of the tubular wall. The bend stiffener may include a number of such elements connected together. The cable protection may also include a clamp attached to the bend stiffener.

Towing umbilical
A burying system (1) for burying a cable/pipe (3) in a trench (T) in a seabed (SB) is provided having a plough (10), an umbilical (81) for providing communication with, and for supplying power to, the plough (10) and a wire (82) for towing the plough (10) along the seabed.
The umbilical (81) and the wire (82) are integrated as one single towing umbilical (80).
Apparatus for Inserting an Elongate Object Into a Trench
A plough for inserting a cable into a trench in the seabed is disclosed. The plough comprises a plough share for forming a trench in the seabed and a drawbar for enabling attachment of tensile members to the plough. The drawbar is moveable relative to the plough share between a first position, in which the plough is adapted to be towed by a towing cable to move the plough share relative to the seabed to form a trench, and a second position, in which the plough is adapted to be supported by the towing cable to enable the plough apparatus to be deployed to the seabed. A cable path receives the cable and an attachment part of the drawbar is moveable relative to the plough share between the second position and a third position, to enable the cable to be received in the cable path from above the plough.
