WIRE STRIPPING AND CUTTING TOOL
A wire stripping and cutting tool includes a main body, a non-conductive knife blade extending from the main body, and a blade guard coupled to the main body. The blade guard is movable relative to the main body and includes a plurality of holes. Each of the plurality of holes has a different diameter.
CABLE STRIPPING FIXTURE
A cable stripping fixture includes a depth gauge block having a first plurality of cable openings formed therein. Each of the first plurality of cable openings is sized to receive at least a portion of a first type of cable. A guide plate is fixed to the depth gauge block and includes a second plurality of cable openings formed therethrough. Each of the second cable openings is coaxially aligned with one of the first plurality of cable openings. A blade holder of the fixture is connected to one of the depth gauge block or the guide plate, and is movable between a cutting position and a cable insertion position. A blade is fixed to the blade holder for engaging with a cable inserted into the depth gauge block and the guide plate.
Wire tool for stripping and terminating electrical wires and methods of using the same
A multi-purpose wire tool which is capable of slitting and cutting the outer insulation sheath of commonly used 12/2 and 14/2 gauge multi-conductor insulated electrical cabling (Romex-style cable), as well as stripping, twisting, capping and hooking the individual insulated wires for both rough-in and finish electrical trim work.
Wire stripping assembly
A wire stripping assembly includes a pair of pliers including a pair of handles and a pair of jaws. Each of the jaws has a plurality of cutting slots integrated therein. The cutting slots in each of the jaws forms a hole when the jaws are closed for having a wire positioned therein. The hole formed by each of the cutting slots has a unique diameter with respect to each other. In this way the hole formed by each of the pairs of cutting slots can accommodate a unique gauge of wire with respect to each other. The cutting slots in each of the jaws is positioned on a leading edge of the jaws thereby facilitating the pair of pliers to be pulled toward a user when the user is stripping the insulation from the wire.
Cable stripping device
A device for stripping a cable is provided. The device includes an extraction chamber and a pusher mounted with an ability to move in the extraction chamber between a rest position and a deployed position. A distal end of the extraction chamber is closed by a flange including a slot. The pusher pushes on the cable in order to press the cable against the slot in the flange.
CABLE STRIPPING TOOL
A cable stripping tool according to one embodiment is a cable stripping tool that strips a sheath of a cable. The cable stripping tool includes a blade protruding from an inner surface of a hole into which the cable is to be inserted. The sheath of the cable inserted into the hole is cut by the blade when the cable is pulled out from the hole along an extending direction of the cable. A cross-sectional shape of the hole is a non-circular shape in a plane orthogonal to the extending direction. The hole includes a space portion that a deformed portion of the cable inserted into the hole enters.
Pliers with angled crimping opening
A crimping tool with a crimping opening extending at an angle to the axial direction of the tool. The tool can include jaws with multiple crimping openings cooperatively defined thereby at different angles relative to the longitudinal axial direction of the tool. For example, the crimping openings can begin at a respective faces of the jaw and such faces can extend at different angles relative to the longitudinal axial direction of the tool. In this manner, the tool can allow crimping of connectors at a variety of different angles, reduce jaw length and width, and improve the leverage of the crimpers.
CLAMPING PLIER
A clamping plier is disclosed, including a first and a second plier bodies. The first and the second plier bodies are connected together through a shaft, an elastic member is provided on the shaft. The first plier body includes a first handle and a first jaw and the second plier body includes a second handle and a second jaw. The first jaw is provided with a first clamping head and a first cable stripping head, and the second jaw is provided with a second clamping head and a second cable stripping head. The first crimping head and the second crimping head cooperate to form a terminal crimping position, the first and the second cable stripping heads cooperate to form a cable cutting and stripping position. The elastic member is connected between the first and the second crimping heads or between the first and the second cable stripping heads.
Disposable optical fiber coating removal tool
A device to strip the external coating layer off of a coated optical fiber is provided. The optical fiber coating removal device includes a one piece molded body having a first body portion connected to a second body portion by a flexible region and a blade secured in one of the first body portion and the second body portion wherein the blade includes a U-shaped slot having cutting edges on the inside of the slot, wherein the flexible portion allows the first and second body portions to move between an open state and a closed state for stripping an optical fiber.
REMOTELY CONTROLLED CUTTING TOOL AND METHOD
A remotely controlled cutting tool for safely cutting electrified cables using a remote control and a method of setting up and operating the remotely controlled cutting tool and remote control.
