Apparatus for transmitting broadcast signals, apparatus for receiving broadcast signals, method of transmitting broadcast signals and method of receiving broadcast signals
The present invention proposes a method for providing a broadcast content in an apparatus, the method comprising: requesting a filter code to an application running on the apparatus by using a first Application Programming Interface (API); receiving a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) object from the application in response to the first API; storing the filter code; receiving an Extended File Delivery Table (EFDT) having a first filter code associated with a first file; and selectively downloading the first file by comparing the stored filter code with the first filter code in the EFDT.

Electrical cable splice
An electrical cable splice includes a housing having a channel configured to hold a first signal conductor of a first electrical cable therein. The channel is configured to hold a second signal conductor of a second electrical cable therein in electrical engagement with the first signal conductor such that the first and second signal conductors are electrically interconnected. The second electrical cable has a greater diameter than the first electrical cable. A ground shield external to the housing such that the ground shield extends at least partially around the first and second signal conductors. The ground shield is electrically connected to electrical ground conductors of the first and second electrical cables.

Electrical power cable monitoring device using low side electrode and earth ground separation
Techniques, systems and articles are described for monitoring electrical equipment of a power grid and predicting likelihood failure events of such electrical equipment. In one example, a sensing device is configured to couple to an electrical power cable. The sensing device includes a plurality of concentric layers and a monitoring device. The plurality of concentric layers include a first layer, second layer, and third layer. The first layer is configured to concentrically surround a central conductor of the electrical cable and includes an insulating material. The second layer includes a conducting material. The third layer includes a resistive material configured to resist electrical flow between the second layer and a ground conductor exterior to the third layer. The monitoring device includes a sensor and communication unit configured to output data indicative of the sensor data.
TRUNK BUS SYSTEM
A trunk bus connector for electrically coupling one or more branch cables to a trunk line. The trunk bus connector containing a junction area, overmold, undermold, and entry pathways arranged so that the branch cables can be coupled to the trunk line without the use of 90-degree bends. The entry of the branch cables relative to the trunk line being approximately 30 to 50 degrees resulting in easier, more reliable installation with less material required.

Cable joint assembly
A cable joint assembly and a method for assembling such a cable joint assembly. The cable joint assembly joins at least two cable ends, said cable joint assembly comprising a cable joint defining an interior space into which in use said at least two cable ends extend and are joined and which in use is filled with a liquid, wherein said cable joint assembly further comprises a barrier element that is placeable in said interior space in such a manner, that in use the barrier element extends around the at least two cable ends at least in an area where the at least two cable ends are joined.

Process for jointing cables
In one example, an apparatus for jointing power cables includes a mold extending along a longitudinal axis, and having a feeding inlet and being made of two halves forming a longitudinal pass-through seat for receiving the cables. An extruder is connected to the feeding inlet. A heating system and a cooling system is associated with the mold. A measuring system for detecting temperature or pressure includes a plurality of probes for detecting temperature or pressure.
