Corrugated tube mounting structure
A corrugated tube mounting structure includes: a corrugated tube into which an electric wire is inserted, formed with a slit into which the electric wire can be inserted, the slit being formed along a length direction of the corrugated tube; and a protector includes a main body inside which the electric wire is arranged and an outlet portion from which the electric wire is drawn out. The outlet portion is provided with a cover configured to close an opening into which the corrugated tube can be inserted. The cover is provided with a pressing portion configured to press the electric wire, which is exposed from an end of the corrugated tube on a main body side, toward the inside of the corrugated tube.
A MULTI-CONDUIT SYSTEM
A multi-conduit system has a joiner section comprising a plurality of conduits in parallel and a joining end for connection to a plurality of exposed like conduits of an adjacent section in use. The conduits of the section terminate at a proximal end of the joining end which comprises a collar widens in diameter from the conduits to form an open mouth. The collar defines an inner profile having a plurality of lobes having respective inner profiles corresponding to outer profiles of respective exposed like conduits such that, in use, when the like conduits of the adjacent section are inserted into the mouth, the lobes of the collar non-rotatably engage the like conduits to correctly align each conduit of the section with a respective like conduit of the adjacent section.
Metal-clad multi-circuit electrical cable assembly
An electrical cable assembly, comprising a first electrical circuit further comprising a first plurality of insulated conductors longitudinally disposed to one another, wherein the first plurality of insulated conductors are cabled together in a bundle. The electrical cable assembly further comprises a second electrical circuit longitudinally disposed to the first electrical circuit, the second electrical circuit comprising a second plurality of insulated conductors longitudinally disposed to one another and cabled together in a bundle and a nonmetallic jacket surrounding the second plurality of insulated conductors and wherein the nonmetallic jacket isolating the first electrical circuit from the second electrical circuit. The electrical cable assembly further comprises a flexible interlocking metallic armor encasing the first and second electrical circuits.
Automobile wiring harness system and kit for same
An automobile wiring harness system including a wiring harness that includes a housing having a proximal opening and a distal opening, electrical conductors extending from the proximal opening to the distal opening, a universal connector coupled to the electrical conductors at the proximal opening, and individual connectors coupled to the electrical connectors at the distal opening and an electrical component of an automobile. The system further includes a first adapting member configured to electrically couple the first adapting portion and the second adapting portion.
Cable Protection
Protection for a cable, piping or tubing comprises a bend stiffener. This includes at least one element comprising a tubular wall having a substantially smooth inner surface, which defines circumferential recesses along at least part of its length. Each recess has an open end at the circumference of the wall, a base, and sloping sides that are closer to each other at the base than at the open end. Each recess has a depth of no more than 50% of the thickness of the tubular wall. The bend stiffener may include a number of such elements connected together. The cable protection may also include a clamp attached to the bend stiffener.
Metal-clad multi-circuit electrical cable assembly
An electrical cable assembly comprising a first electrical circuit comprising at least two insulated conductors, a second electrical circuit, and a conductive metallic armor encasing the first and second electrical circuits, wherein the conductive metallic armor provides a return ground path. The second electrical circuit comprising at least two control insulated conductors, a jacket surrounding the control insulated conductors, and a wrap surrounding the jacket which is surrounding the control insulated conductors.
Protection shield positioning assembly and positioning device therefore and method of use
A method and assembly for protecting a device connected to a wiring harness is disclosed. The assembly includes a protective tubular shield and a positioning device, with the protective tubular shield having a bore for receiving the device at least partially therein. An elongated wiring harness extends from the device being protected and through the bore of the protective tubular shield. The positioning device is formed having a band and at least one flexible, resilient finger extending radially inwardly from the band. At least one of the fingers forcibly engages the wiring harness to releasably maintain the positioning device and the protective tubular shield in a protection position along the wiring harness at least partially surrounding the device being protected.
Door support system for an electrical distribution system enclosure
A door support system is provided for an enclosure of an electrical distribution system. The door support system includes a rail fixedly secured to a door panel of the enclosure. The rail includes at least one notch. The door support system also includes a support member mounted to a frame of the enclosure. The support member is slidably mounted to the rail such that the support member slides along a length of the rail between an extended position and a retracted position. The extended position of the support member supports the door panel in an open position. The support member is in the retracted position when the door panel is in a closed position. The support member includes a detent configured to be received into the notch of the rail to releasably lock the support member in the extended position along the length of the rail.
ASSEMBLY FOR SECURING ELECTRICAL WIRING THROUGH A ROOF OF A VEHICLE
Assembly 18 for securing a bundle of electrical wiring 26 through a roof 12 of a vehicle and a roof rack 10 for supporting a load relative to the roof 12. The roof rack 10 includes an elongate member 14 configured to support the load, one or more mounting mechanisms 16 configured to mount the elongate member 14 to the roof 12, and the assembly 18. The assembly 18 includes a body 20 configured to be placed across a hole 22 defined in the roof 12, the body 20 defining a wiring aperture 24 extending through the body 20, electrical wiring 26 arranged through the wiring aperture 24 and fixed to the body 20, a securing mechanism 28 for releasably securing the body 20 to the roof 12, and a boot 30 configured to cover the body 20, connect to the elongate member 14, and carry the wiring 26 from the body 20 to the elongate member 14.
