Push-to-Connect Fitting Device, Arrangement and Method
Embodiments of an integrated piping conduit include a device having a center body with an interior surface having a tube stop extending radially inwardly thereof, one or more head connectors, and a packing arrangement comprising at least one sealing ring, a spacer gland and a grip ring maintained within a radial housing compartment of the one or more head connectors. The packing arrangement can further include a retainer ring. In various embodiments, each head connector is secured to the center body through gluing or ultrasonic welding.
CABLE HANGER
A hanger device comprises a plurality of cable supports, each comprising a parallel sidewall and a lateral shape retention sidewall where the parallel sidewalls and the lateral shape retention sidewall are separated by a wire engagement surface for holding one or more of the plurality of cables, where each of the lateral shape retention sidewalls includes a hook that comprises first and second hook sidewalls and a radiused surface that separates the first and second hook sidewalls, where each of the hooks opens in an exterior opposing direction; and a hanger surface that separates the parallel sidewalls, where the hanger device is hung on the hanger carrier by placing the hanger surface on the hanger carrier and the lateral shape retention sidewalls are pressed inwardly towards the parallel sidewalls and about the engagement surfaces so both hooks opposingly engage the cable.
Band tightening assembly
A band tightening assembly includes a guide that is positionable against HVAC ducting. The guide slidably engages a band extending around the HVAC ducting. The guide has a first arm extending along a longitudinal axis that is oriented perpendicular to a second arm such that the first and second arms form a plus. A collar is coupled to the guide and the collar is positioned on the first arm. The collar is oriented to extend along an axis that is offset 4.0 degrees from the longitudinal axis of the first arm. A shaft is rotatably positioned in the collar and the shaft has a rotational axis that is aligned with the axis of the collar. The shaft has a slot therein for insertably receiving the band. The shaft has an engaging well for receiving a socket drive on a power tool. Thus, the shaft is rotated about the rotational axis when the power tool is turned on to tighten the band around the HVAC ducting.
ELECTRIC CABLE EQUIPPED WITH AT LEAST ONE SPACER, AIRCRAFT COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SUCH ELECTRIC CABLE
An electric cable configured to be mounted in an aircraft. This electric cable includes at least one spacer at least partially surrounding a part of the electric cable and making it possible to hold it at a distance greater than a minimum segregation distance from any other element. According to one configuration, the electric cable comprises several spacers distributed along the electric cable and separated from one another.
Method of installing elongate bodies in a building
A method of installing elongate bodies in a building includes the steps of providing a blocking body having one or more openings; blocking a hole in a support structure of a building with the blocking body, the hole passing through the support structure; and inserting at least one elongate body through at least one of the one or more openings in the blocking body.
WIRING STRUCTURE
A wiring structure that can prevent generation of radio noise is provided. A wiring structure includes: two electrical/electronic components mounted in a vehicle, and including respective shield cases connected to a chassis ground; and a shield wire including a center conductor, and an outer conductor covering an outer periphery of the center conductor. Both ends of the shield wire are extended to the shield cases, at least one of the shield cases includes an insulation part, and the outer conductor of one end of the shield wire extended to the at least one of the shield cases is connected to the insulation part.
CABLE ROUTING ASSEMBLY
A cable routing assembly, disposed on a headset of a bicycle and having a through hole fitting around a steerer tube of the bicycle, includes a top annular base having a first through hole and a first cable groove and a bottom annular base having a second through hole and a second cable groove. When the top annular base is engaged with the bottom annular base, the top annular base and the bottom annular base jointly form an internal space, and the first cable groove and the second cable groove jointly surround to form a cable channel communicating between an external space and the internal space. The first through hole communicates with the second through hole to form the through hole. An axial direction and a channel direction that are not parallel are defined. The through hole extends along the axial direction. The cable channel extends along the channel direction.
Pulling eye for pulling a micro-conduit through a conduit of larger diameter
A pulling eye for use when pulling conduit, comprised for example of polyethylene, of relatively small diameter, such as a micro-conduit, through a conduit of larger diameter includes an elongated body having a head end and an externally-threaded tapered section opposite the head end which, when threaded into one end of the conduit of relatively small diameter effects the biting of the external threads of the tapered section into the interior walls of the conduit of relatively small diameter. The head end of the pulling eye is configured to cooperatively interfit with the working end of a rotating power tool to facilitate the attachment of the pulling eye to and the removal of the pulling eye from the conduit of relatively small diameter.
