Raised access floor panel with embedded sensors

Disclosed is a sensor floor tile that utilizes a RF frequency transmissive disk that transmits sensor data from sensors located in a plenum of a raised floor system. An antenna is located adjacent to the disk so that sensor signals can be transmitted from the sensor located in the plenum under the floor tile to a wireless receiver located in an elevated location in a data center room, a computer room, a clean room, an office space, etc. A network connection can also be provided by the antenna when the antenna is connected to a router in the plenum.

Power cable embedded floor panel

A floor system in a server room includes a main panel and a sub-panel. The main panel includes main panel inlaid cables and main panel connectors where the main panel inlaid cables connect a first set of the main panel connectors to a second set of the main panel connectors. The sub-panel includes sub-panel inlaid cables and sub-panel connectors where the sub-panel inlaid cables connect the sub-panel connectors to one another. The floor system provides an operating floor via the main panel and the sub-panel where the operating floor is raised relative to a sub-floor and the main panel is a removable floor panel to access a space between the operating floor and the sub-floor. The main panel inlaid cables and the sub-panel inlaid cables establish a current pathway from a power source.

Surface Covering Element for Integrating an Electrically Powered Electronic Device into a Surface Covering
20190194950 · 2019-06-27 ·

The invention relates to surface covering elements for integrating at least one electronic device electrically powered by conductive circuit in a surface covering. The surface covering element comprises at least one, preferably at least two, electrically conductive strip conductors arranged within the surface covering element between its front and back surfaces and at least one recess opening into the back surface between so as to uncover the at least one electrically conductive strip conductor over a certain length. The at least one recess may comprise one or more device recesses and/or one or more connector recesses. Any device recess is preferably placed within the interior of the back face area, whereas any connector recess is preferably placed at an edge of the back face area.

Hazard warning system

A flooring element is used in a raised floor having removable flooring panels and a supporting structure and having a load bearing surface. The flooring element includes a roll of flexible sheet material mounted on the flooring element. The flooring element may include a flooring stringer or an insert. After removal of an overlying flooring panel to reveal an opening to a sub-floor void, the roll of flexible sheet material may be extended from the roll and affixed to an attachment means at an opposite side of the opening so as to substantially cover the opening and provide a warning of a removed panel.
