Method for Festooning a Power Cable
The present disclosure relates to a method for festooning a power cable while deploying it in a deployment site comprising a rail having a start and an end, the method comprising the steps of: providing the cable with a plurality of cable holders slidably movable along the rail, each two consecutive holders being spaced at a holder predetermined distance on the cable; providing a festooning apparatus after the start of the rail, the festooning apparatus comprising a lowering device movable between a raised position and a lowered position; deploying the cable along the rail by repeating the following sub-steps: engaging on the rail one holder after the other and moving them thereon; when one holder oversteps the festooning apparatus, operating the festooning apparatus to move the lowering device from the raised position towards the lowered position, thus engaging the cable at a point between two consecutive holders; when the lowering device reaches the lowered position, obtaining a sagged portion of cable and a shortening of the holder predetermined distance; operating the festooning apparatus to move the lowering device from the lowered position towards the raised position, thus disengaging it from the cable; fixing the shortened holder predetermined distance between two consecutive holders at each side of the sagged cable portion; and advancing the sagged cable portion along the rail.
Wiring sheet, sheet-shaped system, and structure operation support system
A wiring sheet includes one or more carbon wires each of which is one of a signal line and a power supply line, and which are conductors including carbon as a main material and have flexibility; and an insulation sheet that encloses substantially an entirety of the one or more carbon wires, includes an electrical insulator as a main material, and has flexibility.
De-trenching apparatus
De-trenching apparatus (100) for extracting a buried line, such as a cable or pipeline, is disclosed. The de-trenching apparatus comprises a channel (112) configured to receive a buried line to be extracted, the channel comprising a first flared opening (114) at a front end of the de-trenching apparatus and a second flared opening (115) at the rear end of the de-trenching apparatus, the first and second flared openings each having a curved surface (111) configured to support the line during extraction, and material removal means for removing material from around the buried line ahead of the de-trenching apparatus.

Method and Equipment for Installing a Power Cable in a Deployment Site
Method and Equipment for Installing a Power Cable in a Deployment Site The present disclosure relates to a method for installing a single power cable span in a deployment site comprising a rail for supporting the single cable span by trolleys, the method comprising the steps of providing a conveyor belt outside of the deployment site, the conveyor belt having a plurality of locations set at a predetermined distance one from the other along a longitudinal movement direction of the conveyor belt and moving integrally with the latter; repeating the following steps until the single cable span reaches a predetermined position while the conveyor belt is moving, positioning a first part of a holder at one of the locations; while advancing the single cable span, laying a portion thereof on said first part of the holder positioned at the location moving with the conveyor belt; connecting a second part of the holder to the first one to lock the cable span portion in between; while the cable span portion locked by the holder is leaving the conveyor belt, removing the first part of the holder from the location moving with the conveyor belt. According to another aspect, the present disclosure relates to an equipment for the installation of a single power cable span in a deployment site.
Isolator for mounting cable hangers
An isolator for mounting cable hangers, comprising: a platform having a hole; two extenders extending away from the bottom surface of the platform; and two locking clips, wherein each locking clip extends from an extender in a direction that is away from the bottom surface of the platform.

Method and Equipment for the Installation of a Power Cable in a Tunnel
An embodiment describes a method for installing a single power cable span in a tunnel having an entrance and an exit. The method includes positioning a head portion of the single power cable span near the entrance and laying the single power cable span in the tunnel past the exit. The laying of the single power cable span comprises repeating a plurality of sub-steps until the head portion reaches an endpoint outside the tunnel. The plurality of sub-steps includes connecting a trolley at the entrance in a slidable manner on a rail longitudinally extending along the tunnel between the entrance and the exit, joining the trolley to a pulling rope and to the single power cable span, and moving the trolley along the rail by pulling the pulling rope by a predetermined length. Another embodiment relates to an equipment for installing a single cable span in a tunnel.
