SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY BALANCING POWER FROM DISTRIBUTED POWER SOURCES IN A BATTERY PACK
A battery management system for dynamically balancing power in a battery module is provided. The battery management system comprises a plurality of modules, and each of the plurality of modules comprises a plurality of bricks. Each of the plurality of bricks comprises a plurality of blocks, electrically connected in one of a series configuration or a parallel configuration and a controller assembly provided in each of the plurality of the modules. The controller assembly comprises a first converter adapted to be connected to the plurality of bricks and a second converter adapted to be connected to an external system. The controller assembly is configured to obtain a plurality of battery pack parameters from the plurality of bricks using the first converter, process the obtained plurality of battery pack parameters and determine a current level to regulate a charging or discharging of the battery pack using the second converter.

The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for controlling a voltage of an electric machine, applied to a vehicle having an electricity-generation-starting-up integrated electric machine, which relates to the technical field of vehicle controlling. The method includes: when the vehicle is in a voltage-controlling mode, acquiring a current battery voltage, a current battery electric current and an electric-current limit value of the vehicle; according to the battery voltage, determining an initial target voltage; according to a difference between the electric-current limit value and the battery electric current, determining a superposing-voltage value; based on the superposing-voltage value and the initial target voltage, determining a target controlling voltage; and based on the target controlling voltage, controlling the battery voltage of the vehicle.
BATTERY PROTECTION DEVICE AND CHIP THEREIN
The present disclosure provides a battery protection device and a chip therein. The chip includes a buffer circuit and a switch circuit. The buffer circuit is configured to generate a gate control signal according to a first logic control signal, a first voltage, a second voltage, and a third voltage. The switch circuit is configured to transmit the second or the third voltage to the buffer circuit. The switch circuit includes an invert circuit and a select circuit. The invert circuit is configured to invert a second logic control signal to a third logic control signal. The select circuit is configured to select the second or third voltage to transmit the same to the buffer circuit according to the second logic control signal and the third logic control signal. The gate control signal is configured to turn off a power transistor when an overcharging or an over-discharging occurs.

An inductive wireless power unit with a coil assembly is included with the aircraft passenger seat assembly, and the coil assembly is positioned within the component. A portion of the outer surface of the component covers the coil assembly. Wires connecting the coil assembly to a power supply are hidden from view within the aircraft passenger seat assembly.

A charge-pump control circuit includes an oscillator which supplies a clock for driving a charge pump driver to supply a first gate voltage to a discharging transistor in order to control discharge from a battery, and driving a charge pump driver to supply a second gate voltage to a charging transistor in order to control charge to the battery, respectively; and a drive control circuit which sets a control target voltage as one of the first gate voltage and the second gate voltage having a lower voltage in order to control generation of the clock by the oscillator according to the control target voltage.

A degradation-determination system includes a volume change detecting unit configured to detect a volume change of a lithium-ion battery, a capacity change detecting unit configured to detect a capacity change of the lithium-ion battery, and a charge control unit configured to control charge of the lithium-ion battery. The charge control unit is configured to determine that the lithium-ion battery is in a state of degradation, upon occurrence of a condition in which volume expansion of the lithium-ion battery is detected by the volume change detecting unit, in conjunction with a condition in which a decrease in a capacity of the lithium-ion battery is not detected by the capacity change detecting unit.

The present invention detects a predictive abnormal phenomenon in a battery pack and prevents the use of the battery pack before power is shut off at a fuse. The battery pack comprises: a battery cell; a connection unit which is electrically connected to the battery cell and is connected to an external electrical apparatus main body; and a control unit which controls the battery cell, wherein, when detecting an abnormal state such as chattering, the control unit causes a charge prevention signal (LS) and a discharge prevention signal (LD) to be continuously output and makes the charge and discharge of the battery pack impossible (steps 226-228). The continuous output of these prevention signals is configured not to be negated by an operation of a user, and the battery pack can be made unusable by software control.
