Resolver assembly for hybrid module
A hybrid module comprising a housing, a torque converter, and a resolver assembly is provided. The torque converter comprises a turbine having a turbine shell including at least one blade attached thereto; an impeller having an impeller shell including at least one blade attached thereto; and an impeller hub attached to a radially extending end of the impeller shell. The resolver assembly comprises a rotor connected to an outer surface of the impeller hub and a stator connected to the housing.
Apparatus for monitoring and/or controlling mechanical equipment
There is described a system comprising mechanical equipment and an apparatus for monitoring and/or controlling the mechanical equipment. The mechanical equipment vibrates at a frequency f.sub.vibration in use, and the apparatus is attached to the mechanical equipment such that the apparatus also vibrates when the mechanical equipment is in use. The apparatus comprises an electronics module and a resonant electric generator. The resonant electric generator has a resonant frequency f.sub.0 comparable to the vibrational frequency f.sub.vibration of the mechanical equipment. The resonant electric generator comprises a magnet having an associated a magnetic field, a coil electrically coupled to the electronics module, and a resilient member. The resilient member is configured, when the apparatus is vibrated at or around the resonant frequency f.sub.0, to cause relative oscillation of the coil and the magnet so as to induce an electric current in the coil to thereby power the electronics module. The present application also relates to the apparatus for monitoring and/or controlling the mechanical equipment, and to a method of use of the apparatus with mechanical equipment.
System and method for wireless power transfer in a linear cart system
A system for wirelessly transmitting power between a track and independent movers in a motion control system includes a pick-up coil provided proximate to the magnets on the movers. The fundamental component of the voltage applied to the drive coils interacts primarily with the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets on the movers and not with the pick-up coil. Consequently, the pick-up coil does not interfere with desired operation of the movers but rather, interacts primarily with the harmonic components and has current and voltages induced within the pick-up coil as a result of the harmonic components. The energy captured by the pick-up coil reduces the amplitude of eddy currents on the mover. After harvesting the harmonic content, the pick-up coil may be connected to another circuit on the mover and serve as a supply voltage for the other circuit.
SUBMERSION-COOLED POWERTRAIN FOR ELECTRIC HYDROFOIL BOARD
An electric hydrofoil board having a submersion-cooled powertrain is provided. A powertrain assembly, which includes a motor housed in a motor assembly and an electronic speed controller housed in a nose cone assembly that is fastened to the motor assembly, is attached to a lower end of a mast of the hydrofoil board so that the powertrain assembly remains submerged at all times during normal use of the hydrofoil board in a body of water. The flow of water around the powertrain assembly during normal use cools heat-generating components of the electronic speed controller and motor.
MOTOR INTEGRATED INVERTER APPARATUS
A motor integrated inverter apparatus includes a drive motor on which a decelerator is installed, and an inverter installed to be directly connected to the drive motor. The inverter includes an inverter cover installed on a side of the drive motor and having an installation space defined therein, a capacitor having the installation space defined in the inverter cover so that an end of the drive shaft is inserted into the installation space, a control board installed on a side of the capacitor, and a cooling part installed between the control board and the capacitor.
Contactless earplug dispenser
An earplug dispenser for contactless operation by a user having a container portion for receiving a plurality of earplugs. A dispensing portion is coupled to the container portion. The dispensing portion has a motor and a rotor coupled to the motor. The rotor has a plurality of rotor openings to receive individual earplugs in each rotor opening. The dispensing portion also has a dispensing opening. The motor rotates the rotor to dispense earplugs through the dispensing opening.
Motor device
A motor device for a vehicle includes a stator, a rotor, a bearing, an inverter, and a controller. The stator is attached into a housing and includes a concentrated winding coil. The rotor includes a permanent magnet. The bearing supports a rotating shaft of the rotor. The inverter controls an energization state of the concentrated winding coil. If a rotational speed of the rotor is greater than a threshold, the controller outputs a control signal to the inverter to execute field weakening control, and thereby makes a potential difference between the housing and the rotating shaft lower than a withstand voltage of the bearing. The control signal controls the energization state of the concentrated winding coil. The field weakening control generates magnetic flux of the concentrated winding coil in a direction of weakening magnetic flux of the permanent magnet.
Downhole power generation system and method
A downhole power generation includes a power generation module for providing power to a load. A turbine is driven by flow of a downhole fluid to rotate. A generator is coupled with the turbine for converting rotational energy from the turbine to electrical energy, and an AC-DC rectifier is coupled with the generator for converting an alternating voltage from the generator to a direct voltage. A power conversion circuit couples the AC-DC rectifier with the load. The power conversion circuit is configured for providing a first power to the load when the load is in a working mode and providing a second power to the load when the load is in a non-working mode. The second power is less than the first power. A downhole power generation method is also disclosed.
WORKING TOOL
A tool for working a substrate, the tool having a stator and a working piston, which is intended to move relative to the stator along a working axis, also having a drive, which is intended to drive the working piston from a starting position along the working axis to the substrate, the drive comprising a piston coil arranged on the working piston and a first stator coil arranged on the stator, the piston coil having a piston coil axis, which is oriented transversely, to the working axis.
