A motor comprises a housing having a cylindrical recess for receiving and centering a cylindrical wound stator The stator has an overmolded electrical connection assembly with connecting tabs extending transversely. The stator, being equipped with the electrical connection assembly, is overmolded with an electrically insulating resin. The housing has a lateral protrusion for connecting with a complementary connection assembly. The housing has, in its rear portion, a first angular wedging means complementary to a second angular wedging means provided at the rear portion of the overmolded electrical connection assembly.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR/GENERATOR WITH A MULTI-LAYER STATOR/ROTOR ASSEMBLY
Disclosed are various embodiments for a new and improved electric motor/generator including a toroidal magnetic cylinder centered on the longitudinal axis, and a coil assembly including a first coil assembly support positioned within the toroidal magnetic cylinder, and a second coil assembly support positioned within the toroidal magnetic cylinder.
Rotary electric machine
An annular stator core in which, out of slots arrayed in a circumferential direction and extending in a radial direction, q slots are formed per pole and per phase; and stator windings, for respective phases, attached to the stator core. For each stator winding, q*n unit coils obtained by winding wire conductors at regular intervals into concentric winding forms are used to obtain n coils in each of which the q unit coils wound in a same direction are connected so as to be shifted from each other in the circumferential direction, and the stator winding is composed of two coil groups each obtained by joining the n/2 coils together. The two coil groups are connected in parallel to each other between power feed portions and neutral points, and two coils that are connected to the power feed portions are disposed so as to share the slot.
Stator and motor
A stator includes a cylindrical shaft extending in an axial direction, annular portions positioned side by side in the axial direction radially outside the shaft and extending in a radial direction, pole teeth extending in the axial direction from a radially outer end portion of each of the annular portions, and one or more coils between the annular portions adjacent to each other in the axial direction and wound around the shaft. The shaft includes at least one slit recessed radially inward from an outer peripheral surface of the shaft and extending along the axial direction. A portion of the at least one slit is radially inside the annular portion. A lead wire of the coil is accommodated in the at least one slit.
Terminal connector assembly with an overmolded unit with coil end windings
A vehicle electric machine assembly including a stator core and a terminal block is provided. The stator core includes one or more three-phase terminals connected to end windings. The terminal block includes a connector for each of the three-phase terminals. A portion of the end windings extending from the stator core, the three-phase terminals, and the terminal block are overmolded as a single unit such that a portion of each of the connectors is exposed for connection to an inverter. The terminal block may further include one or more threaded apertures, each sized to receive a threaded stud to facilitate an electrical connection between one of the one or more three-phase terminals and the inverter. Each of the one or more three-phase terminals may extend axially along an axis substantially parallel to a central axis of a rotor disposed within a cavity defined by the stator core.
Electric machine with liquid-cooled stator core
A liquid-cooled rotating electric machine may include an inner stator and outer rotor configured to rotate about the stator. A hub may be disposed within the inner stator and a heat exchanger may be disposed in the hub. The heat exchanger may be configured to enable the flow a liquid through it to dissipate heat from the stator.
TRANSVERSE FLUX ELECTRIC MACHINE
A transverse flux motor is formed by a stator portion and a rotor portion. The stator portion includes one or more phase assemblies formed by flux ring plates axially bracketing coil wire windings. The flux rings include teeth that magnetically interact with circumferentially opposed and adjacent teeth to form flux paths transverse to the axis of rotation of the rotor assembly.
Stator assembly including insulation member and method of assembly thereof
A stator assembly includes an annular body extending about a central axis and a plurality of stator teeth extending axially from the annular body and spaced circumferentially about the annular body. The stator assembly includes at least one conduction coil and at least one bobbin configured to support the at least one conduction coil. The at least one bobbin is coupled to a first stator tooth such that the at least one conduction coil extends about the first stator tooth. The stator assembly further includes at least one insulation member configured to couple to a second stator tooth and extend into a slot between the second stator tooth and the at least one conduction coil. The at least one insulation member includes an end wall configured to cover the distal end of the second stator tooth when the at least one insulation member is coupled to the second stator tooth.
Stator
In a stator, coils of multiple phases are wound around a stator core via an insulator. A guide member is provided on one side of the stator core in the axial direction and guides the terminal line of the coil in the circumferential direction at a position overlapping the coil in the axial direction. The coils have coils of different systems connected to circuits of different systems. The guide member has a collecting portion that collects the terminal lines of the different systems at one place in the circumferential direction.
Stator for drive motor
A stator for a drive motor includes: a segmented stator core including a plurality of mounting portions; a bobbin equipped on each mounting portion of the plurality of the mounting portions and having a coil wound thereon; a first casing and a second casing coupled to the bobbin, respectively, at opposite sides of the bobbin with respect to the segmented stator core, and configured to enclose the coil; a passage formed in one of the first casing or the second casing, and configured to allow fluid communication with the inside of the first casing and the second casing; and a terminal portion integrally formed in a remaining one of the first casing or the second casing and configured to allow connection of the coil.
