CONVERTIPLANE
A convertiplane is described that comprises: a fuselage, having a first longitudinal axis and, in turn, comprising a nose and a tail portion; a pair of wings arranged on respective opposite sides of the fuselage, carrying respective rotors and generating a lift value; and a pair of engines operatively connected to respective rotors; each rotor comprising a mast rotatable about a second axis between a helicopter configuration and an aeroplane configuration; each rotor is interposed between the fuselage and the relative rotor along the direction of extension of the relative wing.
Reverse Horse Cart
A reverse horse cart having a treadmill allowing an animal to walk thereon to generate power to run a vehicle. A horse is used as a source of power for a vehicle wherein the horse (or other animal) also rides on the vehicle. To collect energy from the horse in an efficient and ethical matter, the horse will walk on a treadmill causing the belt to rotate a shaft that connects to a flywheel which is communication with a generator. The generator then connects to a tray of capacitors to store the energy. After the energy is stored, the capacitors send the energy to electrical regulators, which pass the electricity to four motors that control each wheel. The motion of the wheels is controlled by a motion logic controller.
SELF-POWERED APPARATUS, BICYCLE AND INDOOR EXERCISE BIKE
A self-powered apparatus is used for various kinds of cycling and indoor exercise devices. The self-powered apparatus includes a pedal unit, a spindle, a generator and an energy storage element. The pedal unit includes an inner surface to form an accommodating space therein. The spindle is accommodated in the accommodating space. The generator includes a stator and a rotor. The stator is disposed on the spindle, the rotor is disposed on the inner surface of the pedal unit, and the rotor surrounds the stator correspondingly and is non-contact with the stator. The energy storage element is electrically coupled to the generator. When the pedal unit is being pedaled to rotate by a rider, the stator is fixed on the spindle, the rotor rotates relatively to the stator and along with the pedal unit, and a power is generated by the generator to charge the energy storage element.
POWER GENERATION FROM VEHICLE WHEEL ROTATION
An apparatus may generate energy in response to a vehicle wheel rotation. The apparatus may include a roller, a shaft, and a generator. The roller may rotate in response to a movement or motion of the wheel and may apply a friction to the wheel to decrease a rotational velocity of the wheel. The shaft may rotate in response to a rotation of the roller. The generator may generate an electrical output based on rotation of the shaft and convey the electrical output to an energy storage device or to a motor of the vehicle.
PORTABLE ENERGY-SAVING AND ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A portable energy-saving and environment-friendly electric vehicle is light in weight, small in volume, convenient in electricity charging, and disassemble to be collected into a backpack for portability. The backpack is further furnished with a crank-handle generator to fulfill manpower electricity generation and working out simultaneously. This energy-saving and environment-friendly electric vehicle is mainly consisted of two adjustable skateboards and a support rod for adjusting speed and connecting a battery set. The battery set can be conveniently replaced roadside or domestically. In a situation of power out, manpower can be used to charge the battery set. Thus, the situation of power out to shut down the electric vehicle can be met. In addition, the battery set associated with the generator is reliable for charging mobile phones and computers.
Adapter assembly of generator and axle-end generator assembly
The disclosure provides an adapter assembly of a generator and an axle-end generator assembly. An adapter assembly includes a first part configured to mount to a wagon bogie and a second part connecting to the first part. The first part and the second part are configured to form a base for mounting a stator of a generator together.
Bending to rotation converter
A device for converting bends of a body to electricity that includes a generator, a bending converter and a connector. The generator includes a stator and a rotor that is connected to a rotational shaft. The bending converter includes a bending arm that has a front side and a back side. The stator and the back side of the bending arm are designed to be fixed directly or indirectly to the body. The rotational shaft is connected to the connector at a first connecting point and the front side of the bending arm is connected to the connector at a second connecting point. When the body bends then the bending arm bend and rotates the rotor relative to the stator.
KINETIC ENERGY-HARVESTING DEVICE FOR POWERING AND CHARGING RAILWAY AND OTHER APPLICATIONS
A kinetic energy harvesting device implementing a half-wave mechanical motion rectification (HMMR) mechanism is described. The energy harvesting device may include an energy harvesting railroad tie, where the tie includes a tie housing configured to be coupled to at least one rail. The tie housing includes at least one spring and at least one energy harvester. The at least one energy harvester includes a generator having an output shaft, a gearhead, a ball screw or other motion transmission, and a one-way clutch. Under a force of a passing wheel on the at least one rail, the at least one energy harvester is compressed, which causes a rotation of the ball screw or other motion transmission, a rotation of the output shaft, and a transmission of torque to a shaft of the gearhead, driving the generator in a unidirectional rotation to generate electrical power via the one-way clutch.
AXLE GENERATOR
A generator system for connection to a vehicle axle. The generator system includes: an electrically-actuated clutch having an engaged position and a disengaged position; a generator and a processor. The generator includes: a rotor configured to be selectively connected, via the clutch, to the vehicle axle; and a stator. In the engaged position, the rotor is connected to the vehicle axle via the clutch such that torque from the vehicle axle is transmitted to the rotor. In the disengaged position, torque from the vehicle axle is not transmitted to the rotor. The processor is configured to control the clutch to actuate between the engaged and disengaged positions, and the processor is configured to monitor an electrical output of the generator, wherein the processor is configured to command the clutch to move to the disengaged position if the electrical output moves outside a predetermined range.
HUB ASSEMBLY FOR HUMAN-POWERED VEHICLE
A hub assembly is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The hub assembly is basically provided with a hub axle, a hub body, an electric component and a user input device. The hub body is rotatably mounted on the hub axle to rotate around a rotational center axis of the hub assembly. The user input device is electrically coupled to the electric component.
