ORC turbine and generator, and method of making a turbine
A turbine and a turbine-generator device for use in electricity generation. The turbine has a universal design and so may be relatively easily modified for use in connection with generators having a rated power output in the range of 50 KW to 5 MW. Such modifications are achieved, in part, through use of a modular turbine cartridge built up of discrete rotor and stator plates sized for the desired application with turbine brush seals chosen to accommodate radial rotor movements from the supported generator. The cartridge may be installed and removed from the turbine relatively easily for maintenance or rebuilding. The rotor housing is designed to be relatively easily machined to dimensions that meet desired operating parameters.

Rotary Electric Machine
The present invention provides a rotary electric machine which suppresses a temperature rise of bearings by reducing heat transfer from internal air to the bearings and heat conduction from a rotor core, and improves the lubrication life of the bearings. A rotary electric machine of the present invention comprises a rotor including a shaft; a stator placed facing the rotor with a certain gap (an air gap) therebetween and supported by a stator frame; bearings which sustain the shaft; and end brackets which hold the bearings, wherein one of the end brackets includes a heat insulating layer on an inner side or an outer side of the machine to prevent heat from flowing into the bearings.
Stator assembly, electrical motor, wind power generator set and method for cooling stator assembly
A stator assembly, an electrical motor having the stator assembly, a wind power generator set and a method for cooling a stator assembly are provided. The stator assembly includes a stator support and a stator core mounted on the stator support, wherein the stator support includes a support enclosure plate, a first axial air flow channel is formed between the support enclosure plate of the stator support and a radial side surface of the stator core, and the first axial air flow channel is used for receiving a first cold air flow, so that the cold air flow can flow in the axial direction. The stator assembly can introduce a cold air flow from the other side, opposite an air gap, of a stator during the operation of an electrical motor, so that two radial sides of the stator can be cooled at the same time.
TOLERANCE RING FOR DRIVE MOTOR STATOR
Systems and methods include providing a tolerance ring in an electric drive motor assembly having a housing and a stator disposed within the housing. The tolerance ring is disposed within the housing and retains or secures the stator within the housing and control movement of the stator within the housing. The tolerance ring includes an annular ring-shaped substrate formed from a metallic material and a plurality of projections protruding radially inward from an inner surface of the substrate or radially outward from an outer surface of the substrate. The tolerance ring optionally includes one or more cooling features formed in the substrate and configured to promote cooling between a fluid disposed in the housing and the stator.
THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A thermal management system including a fluid flow mechanism. The fluid flow mechanism includes an electric machine. A conduit is formed through the electric machine allowing a heat transfer fluid to flow therethrough. The fluid flow mechanism includes a flow device configured to provide a first portion of the heat transfer fluid to a first heat exchange circuit and a second portion of heat transfer fluid to a second heat exchange circuit. The conduit is in fluid communication with the second heat exchange circuit.
Fluid apparatus
A fluid apparatus includes a hydraulic machine, a rotary electric machine connected to the hydraulic machine, and a power conversion controller that converts power from the rotary electric machine. A non-normal operation is performed in a warning state that differs from a normal state in which a normal operation is continued and an anomalous state in which operation is stopped to continue a stopped condition.

COOLING OF ACTIVE ELEMENTS OF ELECTRICAL MACHINES
The present disclosure relates to electrical machines, cooling systems and methods for cooling active elements of electrical machines. More in particular, the present disclosure relates to cooling systems and methods for cooling active rotor and/or stator elements of a generator of a wind turbine, e.g. of a direct drive wind turbine. A cooling method comprises supplying a cooling fluid to an air gap through one or more primary inlets of an electrical machine for cooling a plurality of active elements of a rotor of the electrical machine and/or a plurality of active elements of a stator of the electrical machine separated by the air gap. The method further comprises reversing a direction of flow of the cooling fluid such that the cooling fluid is extracted from the electrical machine through one or more primary inlets.
