A power electronic converter includes a plurality of converter cells, each comprising an inductive power transfer stage having a coupled inductor coupling first and second sides of the converter cell, wherein the inductor comprises a first winding around a first magnetic core and a second winding around a second magnetic core; wherein the first winding and the first magnetic core are separated from the second winding and the second magnetic core by a flat electric insulation layer that provides electric insulation between the first and second sides of the converter cell; wherein at least two of the coupled inductors are arranged so that their insulation layers form a single contiguous insulation layer.

A method of wirelessly transmitting power includes: causing a power transmission circuit to transmit, to a master power reception circuit, a portion of power it is capable of transmitting; adjusting operation of a slave power reception unit until a first rectified voltage produced by the master power reception circuit and a second rectified voltage produced by the slave power reception unit are equal; causing the power transmission circuit to transmit additional power to the slave power reception unit, resulting in the first and second rectified voltages being unequal; and adjusting operation of the slave power reception unit until the first and second rectified voltages are again equal. A dummy load is connected to the slave power reception unit prior to causing the power transmission circuit to transmit the additional power, and is disconnected once the first and second rectified voltages are equal.
Power conversion device and power supply system
A power conversion device includes a power supply, a converter, a current detection circuit, and a control circuit. The power supply includes positive and negative terminals. The converter includes a primary side and a secondary side. The converter is configured to output a first current to a load. The primary side is electrically connected to the positive terminal and the negative terminal of the power supply in parallel. The secondary side is electrically connected to the positive terminal of the power supply and the load in series. The current detection circuit is coupled between the secondary side and the load, and is configured to detect the first current to output a current detection signal. The control circuit is coupled to the current detection circuit for outputting a control signal to the converter according to the current detection signal and a reference current signal.
High-performance power supply of wide output voltage range, and control method therefor
The present disclosure provides a high-performance power supply of a wide output voltage range and a control method thereof. The high-performance power supply of a wide output voltage range includes M rectification branches and a serial to parallel conversion module. The technical solution of the present disclosure solves the problem in the prior art that it is still difficult to obtain a good performance within a full output voltage range under a wide output voltage requirement.
SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR A CORONA IGNITION DEVICE
Described is a supply circuit for a corona ignition device, with an input for connection to a direct voltage source, a first converter, a second converter, and an output for connecting a load. The two converters each generate an output voltage, which is provided on its secondary side and exceeds the input voltage. The two converters each contain a transformer that galvanically separates the primary side of the converter from its secondary side. At least one transistor switch is arranged between the input and primary side of the two converters for pulse width-modulation of the input voltage. The primary side of the second converter is connected in parallel with the primary side of the first converter, the secondary side of the second converter is connected in series with the secondary side of the first converter, the secondary sides of the two converters are each bridged in this series connection by at least one diode, so that an output voltage can be provided at the output of the supply circuit even given a failure of one of the two converters.
DC-DC CONVERTER
A DC-DC converter according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a switch unit that receives a first DC voltage, separates the first DC voltage into three-phase voltages, and outputs the separated three-phase voltages; a transformation unit that transforms the three-phase voltages output from the switch unit, and outputs a three-phase output voltage; and a rectification unit that rectifies the three-phase output voltage applied from the transformation unit, and outputs a second DC voltage.
DC-DC CONVERTER AND DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A DC-DC converter may include: a first converter for converting an input voltage to generate a first power supply voltage; a duty ratio controller configured generate a duty ratio control signal for controlling a duty ratio of a switching pulse of the first converter; a switching frequency controller configured to generate a switching frequency control signal for controlling a driving frequency of the first converter corresponding to a switching frequency of the switching pulse; and a current sensor configured to sense current flowing through the first converter. The first converter is driven at a switching frequency of a first frequency in a first mode, based on the switching frequency control signal, and generates the first power supply voltage of a first level, based on the duty ratio control signal. The switching frequency controller determines whether to turn off the current sensor.
ISOLATED DC-DC CONVERTER
An isolated DC-DC converter includes a non-isolated DC-DC converter as a primary side. The non-isolated DC-DC converter includes a first inductor, a switch controller, and first and second switches. The non-isolated DC-DC converter is configured to receive an input voltage. The non-isolated DC-DC converter also includes a secondary side including a second inductor, a full wave rectifying circuit, and a filter circuit. The second inductor in the secondary side is coupled with the first inductor in the primary side to define a transformer. The secondary side is electrically isolated from the primary side by the transformer and is configured to output a DC voltage based on a voltage induced in the second inductor via the transformer.
Transformer for a three-port voltage converter, three-port voltage converter and method for transmitting electrical power
The invention relates to the galvanically isolated transmission of electrical power between three voltage systems. For this purpose, a transformer is provided which comprises a total of five windings. The transmission between the individual voltage systems can be controlled by targeted manner activation of the individual windings.
POWER CONVERTER
A power converter configured to be connected to three or more voltage parts, includes three or more power-conversion circuitries to be connected to respective ones of the three or more voltage parts, and a multi-port transformer connected to the three or more power-conversion circuitries at respectively different ports. The three or more voltage parts include a vehicle drive battery and a plurality of alternating-current (AC) voltage parts. Each of the plurality of AC voltage parts is configured to provide at least one of power input to a multi-port transformer side and power output from the multi-port transformer side.
