The present disclosure provides an inverter control device which estimates back electromotive force of an induction motor, and which uses a torque current and a flux current so as to calculate a slip frequency and compensate for same, thereby enabling the motor to operate at a constant speed. To this end, the present invention may comprise: a command voltage generating unit for outputting, to an inverter, a three phase PWM voltage with respect to a command frequency on the basis of a voltage/frequency operation; and a slip frequency determining unit for determining a slip frequency on the basis of a phase current and a phase voltage of a motor driven by the inverter.

Induction motor control

A method of a control system controls an inductance motor in a device that may include an impeller using a pressure compensation control system. The control system may be implemented in a respiratory pressure therapy device. The control system may include a sensor configured to provide a pressure signal indicative of the pressure of a flow of fluid produced by the device. A measured pressure may be compared to a set pressure to determine a pressure error. A slip frequency may be adjusted as a function of the pressure error in an attempt to eliminate or minimise the pressure error.

An estimation method for estimating a rotor frequency of a motor during freewheeling, includes: applying a fixed input voltage and one selected from a plurality of stator frequencies to the motor sequentially so as to perform frequency scanning; detecting a stator current value of the motor corresponding to the selected stator frequency; calculating a stator current slope of the stator current values sequentially; defining a target period from a start point where the stator current slope varies from positive to negative to an end point where the stator current slope varies from negative to positive; and determining that a difference between the scanned stator frequency and the rotor frequency is within a preset value, then designating any of the corresponding stator frequencies during the target period as an estimated value of the rotor frequency.

Rotary electric machine and rotary electric machine system

In a rotary electric machine, a rotor, and a stator. The stator includes slots provided in a circumferential direction thereof, and stator windings wound in the slots. The stator windings include n groups of three-phase windings, where n is a power of 2. The slots include first slots each accommodating portions of same-group and same-phase windings in the n groups of three-phase windings. The energizing directions of the same-group and same-phase windings are identical to each other. The second slots each accommodate different-group and same-phase windings in the n groups of three-phase windings. The first slots and the second slots are arranged in the stator at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction of the stator, and the three-phase windings of each group are wound around the stator with regular intervals therebetween.

Induction motor slip calculation

An intelligent electronic device (IED) according to the present disclosure can estimate a full load rotor resistance value as a function of motor positive-sequence resistance. The IED may estimate the full load rotor resistance value by measuring zero-crossings of voltage after a motor disconnect. The IED may also acquire motor current and voltage measurements and calculate motor slip using the acquired motor current and voltage measurements and the estimated full load rotor resistance value.
