System and method for deterring theft
A theft deterring system includes a power tool with a motor connectable to a power source, a switch connected to the motor, a controller controlling to the switch for controlling an amount of power provided to the motor, and a state circuit having a memory for storing a state value. The controller activates the switch to provide power to the motor when the state value stored in the memory equals a desired value. The system may also include a tag programmer for changing the stored value.

PARASITIC PULSE CANCELATION CIRCUIT
A motor control system includes a DC motor and a ripple count circuit. The DC motor includes a rotor that rotates in response to a drive current. The rotation of the rotor generates a mechanical force that drives a component. The ripple count circuit includes an active filter circuit and a parasitic pulse cancellation circuit. The active filter circuit is configured to filter the drive current and to generate a pulsed signal. The parasitic pulse cancelation circuit is in signal communication with the ripple count circuit to receive the pulsed signal and generates a ripple count signal that excludes parasitic pulses included in the pulsed signal having a parasitic voltage level that exceeds a voltage level of a voltage threshold. The parasitic pulse cancelation circuit actively adjusts the voltage level of the voltage threshold based at least in part on a rotational direction of the rotor.

System and Method for HYBRID POWER GENERATION
A hybrid power generation system is disclosed including but not limited to a processor in data communication with a non-transitory computer readable medium for controlling a plurality of power sources to substantially optimize energy generation by the plurality of power sources, wherein the plurality of power sources comprise a solar panel and a battery that generate energy; a computer program comprising instructions stored in the non-transitory computer readable medium that are executed by the processor, the computer program comprising, instructions to determine a current operating state for each of the plurality of power sources; instructions to determine a new operating state for each of the plurality of power sources to substantially optimize power generated for each of the power sources; and instructions to replace the current operating state for each of the plurality of power sources to the new operating state for each of the plurality of power sources.
CONTROL OF ALTERNATOR WITH FRONT END ACCESSORY DRIVE
Control of alternator/starters for providing electrical power to a vehicle and rotating an engine is disclosed. In one example, the alternator/starter provides a differential action whereby torque on an input side of the alternator may be maintained while speed of an output side of the alternator may be varied. The alternator/starter includes two armature windings and two field windings.

Built-In Air Pump
A pump unit includes a pump housing having a valve assembly positioned on a wall thereof and adapted to be coupled to an inflatable device, and an air control assembly that is housed inside the pump housing. The air control assembly includes an impeller section that houses an impeller, and has an air inlet and an air outlet. The air control assembly further includes a motor housing that houses a motor, the motor housing having an air vent that communicates the interior of the motor housing with the air inlet and the air outlet, and a vent opening that communicates the interior of the motor housing to the environment. The air outlet is aligned with the valve assembly when the pump unit is operated in the inflation mode, and the air inlet is aligned with the valve assembly when the pump unit is operated in the deflation mode.
