AMPLIFIER PEAK DETECTION
A peak detector for a power amplifier is provided that includes a threshold voltage detector configured to pulse a detection current in response to an amplified output signal from the amplifier exceeding a peak threshold. A plurality of such peak detectors may be integrated with a corresponding plurality of power amplifiers in a transmitter. Should any peak detector assert an alarm signal or more than a threshold number of alarm signals during a given period, a controller reduces a gain for the plurality of power amplifiers.
Adaptable receiver amplifier
Provided herein are apparatus and methods for a multi-stage signal-processing circuit. The signal-processing circuit can include multiple configurable stages that can be cascaded and configured to process an input signal. Control circuitry can be used to select an output of the configurable stages. Serial data can be recovered with good signal integrity using a signal monitor with the configurable stages by virtually placing the signal monitor on a buffered output node.
TRANSMISSION MODULE, ARRAY ANTENNA DEVICE INCLUDING TRANSMISSION MODULE, AND TRANSMISSION DEVICE INCLUDING TRANSMISSION MODULE
A transmission module includes n oscillator modules and a phase command signal generator. Each of the oscillator modules includes a voltage controlled oscillator and an amplification circuit. The voltage controlled oscillators output transmission high-frequency signals having the same frequency and synchronized among the n oscillator modules by synchronous control based on a common reference signal. The amplification circuits each perform power amplification for the transmission high-frequency signal from a corresponding one of the voltage controlled oscillators and output the resultant signal. Phases of the transmission high-frequency signals synchronized among the n oscillator modules and output from the voltage controlled oscillators are separately controlled according to respective n phase command signals from the phase command signal generator.
Arrangement and method for radio-frequency (RF) high power generation
A method and arrangement for RF high power generation includes a power combiner having RF inputs and an RF output, and at least two power amplifier modules, respectively electrically connected by a transmission line to an input of the power combiner, wherein a directional coupler is electrically connected to the RF output of the power combiner and every transmission line includes an RF switch, where the Method includes measuring and determining values of the power amplifier modules, storing the values and applying the values as a correction to the input signal of the power amplifier modules.
Audio power amplifier for reduced click and pop (CnP)
A power amplifier provides reduction of click and pop in audio applications. The power amplifier includes a first amplifier and an auxiliary amplifier. The auxiliary amplifier is used to ramp the power amplifier output from ground to an offset voltage to reduce the “click and pop” sound. The first amplifier and the auxiliary amplifier having a shared feedback loop. An output of the first amplifier and an output of the auxiliary amplifier may be switchably coupled to the shared feedback loop. A wave generator controls a switch to couple the first amplifier output or the auxiliary amplifier output to the shared feedback loop.

Bias sequencing and switching circuit
The present disclosure provide a device, system, and method for generating, in an electrical device, a 1 bit or a 0 bit that is received in a switching circuit powered by a battery. The device, system, and method generates, in the switching circuit, a negative bias voltage and a positive bias voltage. The device, system, and method transmits the negative bias voltage and the positive bias voltage to a power amplifier. The device, system, and method turns the power amplifier from an off-state to an on-state in response to receiving the negative bias voltage. The device, system, and method amplifies, with the power amplifier, a power signal moving through power amplifier when the amplifier is in the on-state.
