A high frequency power amplifier includes a first high frequency amplifier, a final high frequency amplifier, and a tunable filter. The tunable filter is connected between the first high frequency amplifier and the final high frequency amplifier. The first high frequency amplifier and the final high frequency amplifier are each a multimode/multiband power amplifier. The tunable filter is regulated such that its pass band includes the frequency band of a transmission signal and its attenuation band includes the frequency band of a reception signal in a communication band used in transmission and reception. The pass band and the attenuation band are switched by the tunable filter in accordance with the communication band used in transmission and reception.

A direct current (DC)-DC converter that includes a first switching converter and a multi-stage filter is disclosed. The multi-stage filter includes at least a first inductance (L) capacitance (C) filter and a second LC filter coupled in series between the first switching converter and a DC-DC converter output. The first LC filter has a first LC time constant and the second LC filter has a second LC time constant, which is less than the first LC time constant. The first LC filter includes a first capacitive element having a first self-resonant frequency, which is about equal to a first notch frequency of the multi-stage filter.

A bulk acoustic wave component can include a substrate, at least one bulk acoustic wave resonator on the substrate, and a cap enclosing the at least one bulk acoustic wave resonator. The cap can include a sidewall spaced apart from an edge of the substrate. The sidewall can be 5 microns or less from the edge of the substrate.

The signal path is coupled between an output of the pre-power amplifier and an input of the power amplifier. The dynamic bias circuit monitors the first amplified signal, generates the dynamic bias signal, and outputs the dynamic bias into the signal path.
