A differential input amplification-stage circuit comprises a voltage unit, first and second bulk-driven transistors, first and second mirror current sources, and a differential amplifier unit. The first and the second bulk-driven transistors respectively receive first and second input voltages, and converts the first and the second input voltages into first and second output currents. The differential amplifier unit separately outputs first and second adjustment currents under an action of voltages output by the first to the third voltage output ends. The first and the second mirror current sources respectively output first and second predetermined currents according to the first output current and the first adjustment current, and the second output current and the second adjustment current, so as to maintain transconductance constancy of the differential input amplification-stage circuit. Therefore, output stability is improved.

Systems and methods for communicating high speed signals in a communication device

A coupling module can be used to communicate high speed signals between an optical transceiver and a processing module of an optical communication device, such as an optical line termination (OLT) or an optical network unit (ONU). The coupling module can adjust the common mode voltage level of a differential signal output by the optical transceiver to the common mode voltage level required by the processing module. In addition, the coupling module splits each of the differential output signals from the optical transceiver and passes the split signals to both a high-pass filter and a low-pass filter that are connected in parallel. An adapter module can be connected to the coupling module such that the coupling module can receive different differential signals from different optical transceivers.

METHOD FOR COMPENSATING FOR AN INTERNAL VOLTAGE OFFSET BETWEEN TWO INPUTS OF AN AMPLIFIER
20230283252 · 2023-09-07 · ·

An internal voltage offset between a positive input and a negative input of a first operational amplifier is compensated. The negative input and the positive input of the first operational amplifier are coupled at the same voltage level. A comparison current generated at an output of the first operational amplifier has a sign that is representative of a sign of the internal voltage offset. The output of the first operational amplifier is biased to a threshold voltage using a current-to-voltage converter. A control voltage is generated from a sum of the threshold voltage and a voltage conversion of the comparison current. Compensation for the internal voltage offset between the positive and negative inputs of the first operational amplifier is made dependent on the control voltage.
