SHORT-TERM NOISE SUPPRESSION
A processing system is configured to drive a transmitter electrode with a repetitive multi-burst pattern. The repetitive multi-burst pattern includes a first multitude of bursts of a sensing waveform and a second multitude of bursts of the sensing waveform. The second multitude of bursts is a repetition of the first multitude of bursts. The processing system is further configured to receive, from a receiver electrode, a resulting signal in response to the repetitive multi-burst pattern, and identify, in the resulting signal, a segment least affected by a noise, and that temporally coincides with a burst in the first multitude of bursts or a burst in the second multitude of bursts matching the burst in the first plurality of bursts. The processing system is also configured to decode the resulting signal using the segment.
Sound control device for vehicle and sound control method for vehicle
A vehicle speed detecting unit detects a vehicle speed. A threshold changing unit changes a threshold in accordance with the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detecting unit. A gain calculating unit calculates a gain value of an input sound inputted to a microphone. A sound control unit mutes the input sound when the gain value of the input sound is equal, to or greater than the threshold changed by the threshold changing unit, the gain value being calculated by the gain calculating unit.
IMPULSE NOISE MITIGATION IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
A method, network node and wireless device (WD) for suppressing impulsive noise are provided. According to one aspect, a method includes determining a moving difference of successive samples of a received signal, comparing the moving difference to a threshold, and setting the successive samples to a predetermined value when the moving difference exceeds the threshold.
