Adaptive filter response systems and methods
The present subject matter relates to systems, devices, and methods for adaptively tuning antenna elements and/or associated filter elements to support multiple frequency bands. For example, a tunable filter having an input node and an output node can be selectively tunable to define one or more pass bands associated with one or more first signal bands and one or more reject bands associated with one or more second signal bands. The tunable filter can be configured to pass signals having frequencies within the first signal bands between the input node and the output node and to block signals having frequencies within the second signal bands. Furthermore, the tunable filter can be configured to selectively tune the pass bands to have a minimum pass band insertion loss at any of a variety of frequencies, including frequencies that are greater than and less than frequencies within the reject bands.
ACTIVE MULTI-POLE FILTER
An RF signal is processed by coupling an input signal into a signal loop, the signal loop comprising a resonator and a processing block, and filtering the input signal in the signal loop to produce an output signal by obtaining a plurality of resonator outputs from the resonator and processing the plurality of resonator outputs to generate feedback signals. The feedback signals are connected to a point upstream of the resonator. At least one of the plurality of resonator outputs is processed in the processing block. The signal loop is definable by a transfer function having poles, and the plurality of resonator outputs are processed such that the poles of the transfer function are independently controllable.
Resonator and resonating method
A resonator and resonator method are provided. The resonator includes an inductor, a capacitor, and a switch configured to maintain energy in at least one of the inductor and the capacitor for a select period of time and to enable variability of energy in the at least one of the inductor and the capacitor for another period of time, to set a resonating frequency of the inductor and the capacitor.
