Filter circuit with a notch filter
A filter circuit comprises in a signal line a band filter (BF) allowing to let pass a useful frequency band and a notch filter (NF) circuited in series to the band filter for filtering out a stop band frequency. The notch filter comprises a series circuit of a number of parallel shunt elements (SE1 . . . SE6) wherein each shunt element is shifted infrequency against the other shunt elements that the frequencies thereof are distributed (f1 . . . F6) over a notch band. All shunt elements may be realized as a SAW one-port resonator (TR.sub.NF) including regions with different pitches.
ACOUSTIC WAVE DEVICE
An acoustic wave device includes a piezoelectric layer, first and second upper electrodes, first and second lower electrodes, and first and second acoustic reflection films. In plan view, first and second resonator portions are respectively defined by portions where the first upper electrode and the first lower electrode overlap and where the second upper electrode and the second lower electrode overlap. The first and second acoustic reflection films respectively include first and second metal layers. First and second overlapping portions are respectively defined by portions where only the first upper electrode overlaps with the first metal layer and where only the second upper electrode overlaps with the second metal layer. An area of the first resonator portion is smaller than an area of the second resonator portion and an area of the first overlapping portion is larger than an area of the second overlapping portion.

High frequency module
A transmission filter in a high frequency module includes serial arm resonators electrically connected in series to a serial arm electrically connecting a shared terminal and a transmission terminal, parallel arm resonators each electrically connected in series to each of parallel arms electrically connecting the serial arm and a ground, a first inductor electrically connected between the ground and a connection end electrically connecting at least the two parallel arm resonators of the parallel arm resonators, and a second inductor electrically connected between the ground and one parallel arm resonator different from the at least two parallel arm resonators of the parallel arm resonators. Cascaded resonator
In a resonator, two interdigital transducers (W1,W2) are electrically series-connected and arranged next to each other in the longitudinal direction within an acoustic track delimited by reflectors. Between the two interdigital transducers, a transition area (UEB) is formed in that the finger period p, which is defined as the distance between the finger centers of adjacent transducer fingers, is higher in comparison to the remaining interdigital transducer.
