Means and Methods for Microwave Radio Transceiver Control
The present disclosure relates to a portable radio controller unit arrangement (1, 1A, 1B, 1C) that comprises an electrical power source (9) that is adapted to provide power to a microwave radio transceiver (3) that comprises a transmitter unit (13) and a receiver unit (15). The microwave radio transceiver (3) is comprised in a microwave link node (4) and is connected to a directive antenna (5) and to a signal cable (2). The radio controller unit arrangement (1) further comprises a user interface unit (8, 21) which is adapted to communicate with the microwave radio transceiver (3) such that the portable radio controller unit arrangement (1, 1A, 1B, 1C) is adapted to enable user control of the microwave radio transceiver (3) via the user interface unit (8).
Wireless ranging using physical and virtual responders
An electronic device configures two or more virtual responders associated with different subsets of capabilities of a physical responder in the electronic device, where the physical responder comprises a radio-frequency (RF) transceiver and multiple antennas, and where a given virtual responder corresponds to the RF transceiver and a given antenna. Then, the electronic device performs, based at least in part on wirelessly communication with a second electronic device and using at least the virtual responders, measurements on wireless signals from the second electronic device to the electronic device, where the measurements correspond to a time of flight of the wireless signals. Next, the electronic device determines, based at least in part on the measurements, a range between the electronic device and the second electronic device, where the determination uses the measurements from different virtual responders to correct for an environmental condition and/or increase an accuracy of the determined range.
MULTI-MIXER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING INTERFERENCE WITHIN MULTI-MIXER SYSTEM
A multi-mixer system includes an amplifier module and a plurality of channels. The amplifier module is arranged for receiving signals from an antenna or antenna arrays to generate a plurality of radio frequency (RF) input signals. The plurality of channels are coupled to the amplifier module, wherein the plurality of channels receive the RF input signals, respectively, and each of the channels includes a mixer for mixing one of the RF input signals with a local oscillating signal to generate a mixed signal. In addition, at least one of the channels includes an interference reduction circuit positioned between the amplifier module and the mixer.

A transmitter supports beamforming function using a plurality of antenna elements. The transmitter includes a dither signal generator which, in operation, generates pseudo random sequence signals as dither signals for lower bits of digital signals, the pseudo random sequence signals being different from each other, the digital signals each corresponding to respective one of the plurality of antenna elements, and a plurality of digital-to-analog converters which, in operation, adds the dither signals generated by the dither signal generator to the lower bits of the digital signals, and converts only upper bits of addition results of the digital signals and the dither signals into analog signals.
Selectable band suppression for a distributed antenna system
In one embodiment, a distributed antenna system comprises at least one master unit; at least one remote antenna unit coupled to the master unit and comprising a power amplifier to radiate a remote downlink radio frequency signal, the remote antenna unit further configured to receive a remote uplink radio frequency signal from at least one antenna, the remote downlink radio frequency signal comprises first and second downlink frequency bands and wherein the remote uplink radio frequency signal comprises first and second uplink frequency bands; a band suppression module comprising: a controller; an uplink band suppression element configured to apply an attenuation to suppress the first uplink frequency band in response to a signal from the controller; and a downlink band suppression element configured to apply an attenuation to suppress the first downlink frequency band in response to the signal from the band suppression controller.
Duplexer with balanced impedance ladder
An electrical balance duplexer has multiple impedance gradients and multiple impedance tuners. The electrical balance duplexer transmits an outgoing signal from a transmitter during a transmission mode when a first set of impedance gradients of the multiple impedance gradients is operating in a first impedance state and a first set of impedance tuners of the multiple impedance tuners is operating in a second state. The electrical balance duplexer isolates the outgoing signal from a receiver during the transmission mode when a second set of impedance gradients of the multiple impedance gradients and a second set of impedance tuners of the multiple impedance tuners are operating in the second impedance state.
DISPERSIVE DELAY LINE WITH LAMB WAVE PROPAGATION
Dispersive delay lines are disclosed. The dispersive delay line can include a piezoelectric substrate having a first interdigital transducer electrode on a first region of the piezoelectric substrate and a second interdigital transducer electrode on a second region of the piezoelectric substrate. The dispersive delay line is arranged such that an acoustic wave is configured to propagate from the first interdigital transducer electrode to the second interdigital transducer electrode though a third region of the piezoelectric substrate. An additional material positioned on the third region of the piezoelectric substrate can impact acoustic wave propagation velocity. Related radio frequency modules, wireless communications devices, and methods are disclosed.

A power distribution circuit applied to a radio frequency front-end transceiving apparatus includes a common-stage amplifying circuit and a branch-stage amplifying circuit, in which the branch-stage amplifying circuit comprises at least two parallel channel amplifying circuits; the common-stage amplifying circuit is configured to perform a first signal processing on a radio frequency signal received by an antenna of the radio frequency front-end transceiving apparatus to obtain a first power signal and output the first power signal to each of channel amplifying circuits, in which the first signal processing at least includes a buffering processing, an isolation processing and a low-noise amplifying processing; each channel amplifying circuit is configured to perform a second signal processing on the first power signal to obtain a second power signal and output the second power signal to a radio transceiving device; the second signal processing at least includes a low-noise amplifying processing.
