Techniques for self-interference cancelation

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless node may transmit, to a control node, an indication of a capability of the first wireless node to perform one or more self-interference cancelation (SIC) procedures between a first antenna array of the first wireless node and a second antenna array of the first wireless node. The first wireless node may receive, from the control node in response to the indication of the capability, a configuration for the first wireless node to use to perform a SIC procedure of the one or more SIC procedures for full-duplex communications. The first wireless node may then communicate, according to the received configuration, with the control node, a control node, or any combination thereof, using the first antenna array and the second antenna array.

Creating library of interferers

A system includes a method for detecting a signal interference in a communication signal of a wireless communication system. An identified source of the signal interference is determined according to an interference profile of a plurality of interference profiles associated with an interference profile library having information that approximates characteristics of the signal interference. The signal interference of the communication signal is mitigated according to an interference parameter associated with the identified source by filtering the communication signal according to the interference parameter.

Systems and methods for in-line interference detection in point-to-point radio links

An interference detection system comprises memory storing computer instructions to cause a processor to perform gathering a temporal snapshot of radio parameter values associated with a first site of a point-to-point radio system, the radio parameter values including at least a receive signal level (RSL) value and at least one other radio parameter value correlated with signal degradation; determining whether the RSL value is greater than an RSL threshold; determining whether the other radio parameter value indicates a threshold level of signal degradation; when the RSL is greater than the RSL threshold and the other parameter indicates a threshold level of signal degradation during the temporal snapshot, determining that external interference is present during the temporal snapshot; when the RSL is not greater than the RSL threshold, determining that the external interference is not present; and performing a responsive action to a determination of the external interference being likely present.

Device and method for wireless transmission

In certain aspects, a device for wireless transmission includes a transmission path, a feedback path, and a DPD control module. The transmission path includes a digital pre-distortion (DPD) conversion module configured to perform pre-distortion processing on an amplitude and a phase of a transmission signal based on a pre-distortion processing strategy. The transmission path further includes a power amplifier coupled to a downstream of the DPD conversion module and configured to amplify a power of the transmission signal. The feedback path is coupled to the transmission path at the downstream of the power amplifier and configured to generate a feedback signal. The feedback path includes a static gain compensation module configured to be activated during an initial time period of each frame to track and update a static gain for the feedback signal and configured to hold the static gain after the initial time period of each frame. The DPD control module is coupled to the feedback path and the DPD conversion module and configured to adjust the pre-distortion processing strategy based on an amplitude difference and a phase difference between the transmission signal and the feedback signal.

Systems and methods for signal path isolation for neutral-host hardware are provided. In one embodiment, an isolation circuit for a multiple-subchannel wireless communication transceiver comprises: a Tx path coupled to a transmit path output of a multiple-subchannel transceiver; a Rx path coupled to a receive path input of the transceiver; a precancellation circuit comprising: an isolation adjustment circuit within the transmit path of the isolation circuit, the isolation adjustment circuit comprising a phase shifter and a reflection tuner; a directional coupler within the Rx path of the isolation circuit. The isolation adjustment circuit outputs a reflected wave signal comprising a cancellation reference signal to the directional coupler. The cancellation reference signal comprises a complex conjugate of a TX signal leakage signal component of a signal transported in the Rx path of the isolation circuit. Within the directional coupler the cancellation reference signal destructively interferes with TX signal leakage signal component.
