ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD SAFE EARBUDS
An apparatus and method for protecting a user's brain and heart from radiation is herein disclosed. In particular, a wireless headphone provides the radiation-emitting components in an electronics module spaced from both of those body parts. The radiation-emitting components include, but are not limited to, a wireless antenna or a wireless receiver. Thus, the present invention enables all the utility that wireless headphones offer without the negative health effects associated therewith.
Method for controlling volume of wireless headset, and computer-readable storage medium
Disclosed are a method for controlling the volume of a wireless headset, a wireless headset and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: when the mobile terminal is connected to a wireless headset in an in-ear state, acquiring a target play volume range of the wireless headset; adjusting the play volume of the wireless headset within the target play volume range; when volume determination information from the wireless headset is received, determining that the play volume of the wireless headset at the moment the volume determination information is received is a target play volume value; and adjusting the play volume of the wireless headset to be the target play volume value. The play volume of a wireless headset suitable for a user can be automatically and quickly set.
Wearable audio device with modular component attachment
Various aspects include wearable audio devices enabling modular component attachment and detachment. In certain implementations, a wearable audio device includes: a headband for contacting a head of a user; an earpiece coupled with the headband for positioning proximate an ear of the user, the earpiece having an electro-acoustic transducer configured to output audio signals; and a slot configured to engage an electronic component, where the slot includes one or more snap-fit and/or friction-fit connectors for selectively engaging the electronic component.
Audio accessory system and holder to hold an audio accessory in two positions
An audio accessory system that includes a holder to hold an audio accessory in two positions is provided. The holder comprises a first retention platform having a cable coupled thereto, a second retention platform and a back retention wall extending between the first and second retention platforms. The first and second retention platforms and the back retention wall form a clip for retaining the audio accessory. The holder further comprises an electrical interface, at the back retention wall, for coupling the cable to a corresponding electrical interface of the audio accessory. The clip is interchangeably mountable in first and second positions relative to the audio accessory, such that: in the first and second positions, respectively, the clip mounts to the audio accessory with the cable extending from a bottom or a top of the audio accessory.
Downlead Cable
A downlead cable includes a first connector configured to connect to a headset of a communication system. A second connector is configured to connect to a connection port of a handset or a radio system. The downlead cable further includes wires connecting the first and second connectors and a cable jacket encapsulating the wires. A transformer is wired inline between the first and second connectors. The transformer is configured to enable the headset to mimic the electrical characteristics a microphone which the handset or the radio system is configured to interface.
Wireless Headset
A wireless headset with a headband that is constructed and arranged to fit over a user's head. The headband includes an antenna that is adapted to transmit and receive wireless signals, and electronic signal processing hardware that is electrically matched to the antenna. The headset also includes earcups carried by the headband, each earcup arranged to sit on, over or near one ear of the user. Each earcup has an audio transducer.
Audio systems and methods
A system for receiving multiple conversations or messages and for playing the multiple conversations or messages with a mobile device and wireless earpieces. The system may determine various presentation parameters based on various characteristics of the received messages and may play the messages such that audio appears at distinguishing locations around the user. The system may change how messages and/or conversations are played in response to recognize a change in the focus of the user based on detected user inputs, such as body movement gestures.
WEARABLE DEVICE WITH RECEPTACLE TO RECEIVE AN AUDIO DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
An apparatus includes a first transceiver of a wearable device. The first transceiver is configured to communicate using a first communication network having a first communication range. The apparatus further includes a second transceiver of the wearable device. The second transceiver is configured to communicate using a second communication network having a second communication range that is less than the first communication range. The apparatus also includes a receptacle of the wearable device. The receptacle is configured to receive an audio device that is configured to communicate with the second transceiver using the second communication network.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Provided is a portable electronic device that can further enhance user experience during use of the portable electronic device.
The portable electronic device includes: a housing; a first projection portion configured to be accommodated in the housing and to project from a first end surface of the housing; a second projection portion configured to be accommodated in the housing and to project from a second end surface of the housing; and a controller configured to control the manner of projection of the first projection portion or the second projection portion.
