20230047192 · 2023-02-16 · ·

A container for communication devices and communication systems used in cellular networks. There is a need for resilient systems that can withstand extreme weather events. Cellular network infrastructure located close to coastal regions is particularly prone to disruptive failures. A container for an electronic communications device is also provided including: a housing that surrounds at least one mounting plate on which electrical devices and electronic devices are supported. The housing is received around atop edge by a recess in a top plate and around a bottom edge by a recess in a bottom plate. The top and bottom plates are clamped to seal the housing. In some embodiments the housing is connected to a sea borne infrastructure such as buoy. Node frames enable a communications infrastructure that has no single point of failure.

A mounting base (14) is fixed to an antenna (13) or an antenna bracket (15) for supporting the antenna (13). A baseband unit (11) and an RF unit (12) are fixed to the mounting base (14). The baseband unit (11) fixed to the mounting base (14) is disposed to face a back part (132) of the antenna (13) and to form a space between the back part (132) and the first enclosure (111). The RF unit (12) fixed to the mounting base (14) is disposed in the space formed between the back part (132) of the antenna (13) and the baseband unit (11) and is coupled to a waveguide flange (132) of the antenna (13). Thus, for example, in a configuration of a point-to-point wireless apparatus in which an RF unit and a baseband unit are separated, restrictions on installation space of the apparatus can be facilitated.

WATERPROOF STRUCTURE FOR COMMUNICATION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION UNIT, AND WORKING MACHINE

A remote key device includes a housing including a first waterproof compartment and two second waterproof compartments spaced from front and rear ends of the first waterproof compartment respectively; two floats disposed in the second waterproof compartments respectively; and a PCB disposed in the first waterproof compartment. There are further provided with a first space disposed between the first waterproof compartment and one of the second waterproof compartments, and a second space disposed between the first waterproof compartment and the other second waterproof compartment. There are further provided with a frame disposed on the first waterproof compartment and a sealing member disposed on the frame.

INTEGRATED TELECOMMUNICATIONS HANDSET

A rugged, ergonomic integrated telecommunications handset includes an electronic controller that interoperates and controls the universal remote control (URC), which connects to multiple radios simultaneously. The controller downloads options which are implemented by the controller. The handset has an ability to vibrate in a silent mode, and has a memory capacity, as well as GPS capacity. Ergonomically, the handset has a pair of side arrays of protruding ribs, which enhance gripping, preventing the handset from falling out of the user's hands, even if the user has gloves on in inclement weather conditions in the field. While compatible with the latest radio system software defined dual net and dual channel radio equipment, the handset is also backward compatible with single radios or with two or more separate radios, and may communicate using Bluetooth.

PORTABLE ALARM SYSTEM
20230053570 · 2023-02-23 ·

A portable alarm system has a base unit including a processor electrically connected to a wireless transceiver configured to communicate wireless signals to an external location. The base unit is further configured to receive wireless alarm signals from at least a first sensor and a second sensor, both of the first and second sensors being physically separated from the base unit. The processor is configured to be selectively programmed by a user to cause the base unit to communicate with a remote monitoring station in response to receiving an alarm signal from the first sensor, but not in response to receiving an alarm signal from the second sensor. Instead, when an alarm signal is received from the second sensor, the processor causes a different action, other than communicating with the monitoring station, to occur. Such action can include, for example, sending a wireless communication to a mobile electronic device.

Electronic device case and material layer details of the same

The disclosure provides a portable terminal including an electronic device and a case disposed thereon that provides water resistant, dust resistant, and insulation for the electronic device by proper positioning of an aperture of the electronic device that uses an area of the case as an antenna. The case includes a body part that comprises a main body with a metallic portion formed of a metallic material, and an auxiliary body disposed adjacent to the metallic portion, and at least a portion of the auxiliary body is used as an antenna for transmission and reception of signals. An insulation member is disposed between the at least a portion of the auxiliary body and the main body, and a bonding layer is disposed in at least one of an area between the insulation member and at least one area of the main body, or between the insulation member and the auxiliary body.

Two-way communication system and method of use

The two-way communication system comprises a non-invasive and non-implanted system which remains completely invisible to an outside observer when in use by an operator or user and allows for clear two-way communications. This system is generally comprised of a mouthpiece component, relay component, infrastructure communication device, and an optional system control which may interface with the relay component.
