Creating library of interferers
A system includes a method for detecting a signal interference in a communication signal of a wireless communication system. An identified source of the signal interference is determined according to an interference profile of a plurality of interference profiles associated with an interference profile library having information that approximates characteristics of the signal interference. The signal interference of the communication signal is mitigated according to an interference parameter associated with the identified source by filtering the communication signal according to the interference parameter.

The method may performed by a user equipment (UE) comprise: performing, by the UE, measurements; based on that (i) the measurements are for measuring a cross link interference (CLI) and (ii) that the measurements are performed on a sounding reference signal (SRS) from a neighboring UE in a neighboring cell, adjusting a time error between a downlink reference timing in a serving cell and a SRS arrival timing from the neighboring UE. The adjustment is performed based on offset.

Waveform-coding is applied to map successive on-off-keying (OOK) data bits onto successive multicarrier modulated symbols in time domain, wherein each multicarrier modulated symbol includes a set of sub-carriers in which alternating sub-carriers are set to non-zeros and zeros in frequency domain. The waveform coded multicarrier modulated symbols are up-converted to a carrier frequency to provide a data signal that is transmitted over a wireless channel.

The present disclosure describes the concept of operations and the medium access control protocols of a wireless communication system using code-division multiple access with interference avoidance (CDMA-IA) as its physical layer. The system can dynamically share a common band with other networks without a central radio resource controller. In one embodiment, the wireless communication system includes a plurality of radio nodes forming a wireless mesh network, wherein the pairs of radio nodes use, individually optimized, time division duplexing. At least one radio node includes a software-defined radio, a memory, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to control the software-defined radio to transmit a pilot signal and share various state information with the other nodes of the network. The shared information includes local spectrum occupancy and node connectivity sets. The pervasive sharing of spectrum occupancy among all nodes enables the usage of the shared band to be maximized.

Circuits and methods concerning signal detection are disclosed. In some example embodiments, an apparatus is configured to detect presence of a spreading sequence in a sample data sequence. Phase differences between samples in a sample sequence are determined. Presence of a spreading sequence in the sample sequence is detected by evaluating correlation of reference sub-sequences, of a reference spreading sequence, to the phase differences between samples in a sample sequence. Each of the reference sub-sequences includes fewer chips than the spreading sequence to be detected.
