POWER MANAGEMENT OF REDUNDANT ARRAY BASED ON NETWORK CONDITIONS
Systems and methods are provided for redundant antenna systems and methods of managing the power allocated thereto. A redundant antenna system comprises a first antenna array and a second antenna array, wherein each of the first and second antenna arrays are oriented to transmit downlink signals to different geographic areas. A first set of antenna elements of the first antenna array and a second set of antenna elements of the second antenna array are powered by a common power supply. In a normal operating mode, the power supply only powers the first set of antenna elements and in aspects of a redundant operating mode used to serve a degraded geographic service area, the power supply powers both the first set of antenna elements and the second set of antenna elements.
RESOURCE CONFIGURATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application provides example resource configuration methods. One example method includes receiving configuration information sent by a network device, where the configuration information includes at least a first SRS resource set and a second SRS resource set, and usage of each SRS resource set includes beam management and antenna switch. Each SRS resource in the first SRS resource set can be sent by using a first antenna group, and each SRS resource in the second SRS resource set can be sent by using a second antenna group.
Apparatus for transmitting and/or receiving radio frequency signals and method of operating such apparatus
Apparatus for transmitting and/or receiving radio frequency, RF, signals, particularly for a mobile radio device for a wireless communications system, particularly a cellular communications system, said apparatus comprising a primary antenna module having a first radiation pattern, at least one secondary antenna module having a second radiation pattern, which is different from said first radiation pattern, and a control unit configured to selectively activate and/or deactivate said primary antenna module and/or said at least one secondary antenna module.
COMMUNICATION PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication processing method is performed by a user equipment (UE), the UE including at least a first antenna panel and a second antenna panel. The communication processing method includes: communicating with a serving cell by the first antenna panel, and communicating with a target cell by using the second antenna panel.
Communications method and apparatus
A communications method and apparatus to implement radio frequency link sharing, improve radio frequency link utilization, and increase an uplink transmission rate. The method includes a terminal that receives first configuration information and second configuration information from a first network device. The first configuration information is used to indicate a first reference signal resource of a first antenna port, and the second configuration information is used to indicate a second reference signal resource of a second antenna port; or the first configuration information is used to indicate a third reference signal resource of a first quantity of antenna ports, and the second configuration information is used to indicate a fourth reference signal resource of a second quantity of antenna ports. The terminal sends a first reference signal based on the first configuration information and sends a second reference signal based on the second configuration information.
Method of transmitting sounding reference signal and electronic device therefor
A transmission of a sounding reference signal by an electronic device is provided. A method of an electronic device includes transmitting a signal via a first antenna subset including at least one of a plurality of antennas, measuring an emission environment of the plurality of antennas, using the signal, determining at least one antenna to be used for transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS), based on the emission environment, and transmitting the SRS via the at least one determined antenna. The emission environment includes a strength of a reflected signal that corresponds to the signal and is reflected by the first antenna subset, or a strength of a reception signal that corresponds to the signal and is received by a second antenna subset including at least one remaining antenna.
MULTI-LAYER WIRELESS STREAMING WITH ADAPTIVE CONSTELLATION MAPPING (ACM)
Systems and method for adaptive constellation mapping determine transmission formats for simultaneous transmission from multiple transmitter chains. The adaptive constellation mapping can select a winning combination of mappings using distance metrics. The distance metrics can be calculated from estimated received signal constellations at a multi-layer receiver. The multi-layer receiver can separate the data received from each of the transmitter chains. Additional systems and method can determine a whether to use adaptive constellation mapping or an alternate transmission format. Further systems and methods can determine a transmit arrangement that include selection of which of multiple transmitters will be a part of an adaptive constellation mapping transmission, the number of layers that will be transmitted by each transmitter, the transmitter chains that will be used, and which of multiple antennas that will be used.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication method includes: receiving, by a network device, first information sent by a terminal device: where the first information includes capability information of the terminal device and uplink sounding reference signal (SRS) antenna switch requirement information of the terminal device, the capability information of the terminal device is used for indicating antenna switch capability supported by the terminal device, and the SRS antenna switch requirement information is used for indicating requirement for terminal device to perform SRS antenna switch.
DYNAMIC POWER CLASS ASSIGNMENTS
Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatus for dynamically assigning signal paths to multiple subscriptions in a user equipment (UE) that supports dual subscription dual active (DSDA) communications. The dynamic assignment of signal paths provide dynamic implementation of power classes for uplink transmissions based on communication parameters of the networks associated with the dual subscriptions.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING ANTENNA
An electronic device according to various embodiments may include a plurality of antennas including a first antenna group and a second antenna group and a wireless communication circuit, and the wireless communication circuit may control the first antenna group to receive a first signal by establishing a first wireless communication channel of the first frequency band with an external device, measure a first channel capacity, select at least one antenna from the second antenna group based on correlation, identify a second channel capacity of a second wireless communication channel of the first frequency band which is able to be established using some of the first antenna group and the selected at least one antenna of the second antenna group, and control to receive the signal of the first frequency band by using some of the first antenna group and the selected at least one antenna.
