Switching Device for a True Diversity Receiver
A switching device is adapted for a true diversity receiver and contains: a control switch defined between two microcontrollers of two antennas and configured to switch RF wireless microphone signals so that the two microcontrollers execute a single-receiving dual true diversity program or a dual-receiving single true diversity program. The RF wireless microphone signals are received by the two antennas and are decoded to sound signals by two digital decoders respectively, and the sound signals are sent to two audio signal processors by a multiplexer which corresponds to the two microcontrollers to switch the sound signals of a single-receiving dual true diversity or a dual-receiving single true diversity. Thereafter, the sound signals are output by a sound signal mixer.
Blockage detection for wireless communications
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with one or more parameters to support blockage detection for beamformed communication. The UE may receive a set of reference signals via a receive beam of a beam pair. The UE may detect a condition associated with a measured signal quality of a reference signal of the set of reference signals relative to a filtered signal quality of the set of reference signals. The condition may, in some examples, correspond to a drop of the measured signal quality at least a threshold amount below the filtered signal quality for at least a threshold duration of time. The UE may delete one or more signal quality values from a measurement database of the UE based on detecting the condition. The one or more signal quality values may be associated with the beam pair.
Methods and apparatus to facilitate symbol extension and windowing for beam switching
Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating symbol extension and windowing for beam switching are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at transmitter includes performing a beam change for communicating with a wireless communication device. The example method also includes extending a transmission for an extended period of time based on the beam change. Additionally, the method includes applying a windowing function to the transmission during the extended period of time.
FR2 LEG FAST RAMP UP AND KEEP
In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives, on a primary cell (PCell), an indication indicating an addition of a primary secondary cell group (SCG) cell (PSCell). The UE initiates executing a random access procedure on the PSCell. While executing the random access procedure, the UE receives one or more reference signals on the PSCell; the UE measures the one or more reference signals to select an antenna panel and a beam to receive data on the PSCell; the UE receives, at the antenna panel, the data on the beam after the random access procedure is completed.
BEAM SWITCHING
An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: receiving, at a user device, a downlink reference signal from a communication node of a mobile communication system, wherein the downlink reference signal is received by one of a plurality of beams of a receiver of the user device in accordance with a configured beam alignment; determining whether to initiate beam switching to reconfigure the beam alignment at said receiver based, at least in part, on a signal power of the received downlink reference signal; and determining, in the event that beam switching is to be initiated, whether to initiate communication node assisted beam switching or non-communication node assisted beam switching.
METHOD FOR PERFORMING BEAM FAILURE RECOVERY PROCEDURE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND DEVICE THEREFOR
A method by which a terminal performs a beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present specification, comprises the steps of: receiving setting information related to a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH); transmitting the PUCCH on the basis of the setting information, the PUCCH being related to BFR of at least one secondary cell (SCell); and transmitting a message comprising information related to the BFR. The message comprising the information related to the BFR is related to a beam failure detected before a specific time point.
UPLINK BEAM FAILURE RECOVERY
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communication systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling from a base station based on an uplink beam failure. The control signaling may indicate one or more uplink beams for uplink communications, and the one or more uplink beams may be decoupled from a downlink beam for downlink communications by the UE. The UE may transmit a feedback message acknowledging the one or more uplink beams for the uplink communications based on receiving the control signaling. The UE may switch from one or more current uplink beams to the one or more uplink beams indicated via the control signaling during a time period after receiving the control signaling. The UE may transmit the uplink communications using the one or more uplink beams based on the feedback message.
Multi-Beam Channel State Information (CSI) Evaluation
A technique for wireless communications, comprising: determining a first channel state information (CSI) based on a current receive beam; determining a second CSI based on the current receive beam; determining a correlation metric between the first CSI and the second CSI; based a comparison between the determined correlation metric and a threshold value, determining to transmit the first or second CSI in response to a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) received from a wireless node; determining a third CSI based on a candidate receive beam and the reference signal; and selecting the candidate receive beam based on the measured third CSI.
TECHNIQUES FOR ENABLING BEAM MANAGEMENT RADIO RESOURCE CONTROL PARAMETERS
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a radio resource control (RRC) message, the RRC message including an indication of whether group-based beam reporting is enabled for the UE. The UE may transmit a group-based beam report based at least in part on the indication that the group-based beam reporting is enabled for the UE. Numerous other aspects are described.
Method of transmitting beam failure recovery request and user equipment
A method of transmitting a beam failure recovery request and UE are provided. The method is applied to UE and includes: transmitting, in a case that it is determined that a first time period for transmitting a beam failure recovery request and at least one second time period for transmitting an uplink channel or signal overlap and the uplink channel or signal supposed to be transmitted within the at least one second time period does not carry the beam failure recovery request, the beam failure recovery request to a network side device within the first time period.
