METHODS FOR SCHEDULING UPLINK TRANSMISSIONS FOR NON-TERRESTRIAL NETWORKS
The various embodiments herein disclose methods and systems for uplink scheduling schemes for low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite based Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN). According to an embodiment, a zone-based scheduling (ZBS) scheme is described where the coverage area may be divided into a plurality of zones and independent scheduling-offsets may be allocated for each of the zones. The ZBS scheme improves upon the overall user latency by reducing the K2 and cell offset delay for low-propagation delay users within the NTN cells. At the same time, the impact of differential doppler may also be mitigated with such a zone-based allocation strategy.
Feeder link in data transport in wireless telecommunication systems
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for feeder link data transport are provided. For example, baseband in-phase and quadrature (IQ) data may be processed at the transmitter and receiver of the feeder link. The orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) waveform used in a beam may be modified for transmission over the feeder link. For example, the waveform may have a wider subcarrier spacing (SCS) and may fill an enlarged bandwidth than otherwise with a feeder link.

The control method includes: obtaining a coverage mode of a terminal; when the coverage mode is single-layered sub-network coverage, setting a non-ground mobile communication sub-network or a ground mobile communication sub-network corresponding to the single-layered sub-network coverage to be in a standalone operating mode or an intra-layer carrier aggregation mode; and when the coverage mode is multi-layered sub-network coverage, setting the non-ground mobile communication sub-network corresponding to the multi-layered sub-network coverage, or the ground mobile communication sub-network and the non-ground mobile communication sub-network corresponding to the multi-layered sub-network coverage, to be in a cross-layer carrier aggregation mode. The ground mobile communication sub-network and the non-ground mobile communication sub-network use a same or unified radio access technology.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEQUENCE DETERMINATION IN WIRELESS TRANSMISSION
Embodiments of the present application are related to a method and apparatus for sequence determination in wireless transmission. According an embodiment of the present application, an exemplary method includes: receiving configuration information indicating at least one offset value associated with a kind of sequence, wherein each offset value corresponds to a second time domain index offset relative to a first time domain index determined based on synchronization signal block (SSB) associated with the kind of sequence; determining at least one second time domain index associated with the kind of sequence based on the at least one offset value correspondingly; and determining at least one sequence correspondingly based on the at least one second time domain index. Accordingly, embodiments of the present application can allow interference randomization during sequence generation in spite of the unfavorable impact on time domain index.
PAGING METHODS, TERMINAL AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A paging method performed by a network device is provided. The method comprises: sending at least one of a first paging channel or a second paging channel to terminals belonging to a same terminal group, first paging being used for paging corresponding to signal quality being greater than a target signal threshold, and second paging being used for paging corresponding to the signal quality being less than or equal to the target signal threshold.
TIMING OFFSET PARAMETER UPDATE METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM
Embodiments of this application provide a timing offset parameter update method, a device, and a system, and relate to the field of communication technologies, to help reduce signaling overheads generated when a network device updates a value of a timing offset parameter. The method includes: A terminal device obtains first information that includes a first reference value and first indication information, where the first indication information indicates an update rule of a timing offset parameter, and the first reference value is an initial value of the timing offset parameter. The terminal device updates a value of the timing offset parameter based on the first information and a timing offset variation, to obtain an updated value of the timing offset parameter, where an absolute value of the timing offset variation is equal to an absolute value of a difference between any two consecutively updated values of the timing offset parameter.
TIMING OFFSET PARAMETER UPDATE METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM
Embodiments of this application relate to the field of communication technologies, and provide a timing offset parameter update method, a device, and a system, to help reduce signaling overheads when a terminal device updates a value of a timing offset parameter. The method includes: A terminal device obtains a timing advance adjustment variation corresponding to the terminal device, where the timing advance adjustment variation is a difference between a timing advance adjustment amount currently used by the terminal device and a timing advance adjustment amount used at a previous moment. The terminal device determines whether an absolute value of the timing advance adjustment variation is greater than or equal to a first threshold. If the absolute value is greater than or equal to the first threshold, the terminal device sends, to a network device, first indication information used to indicate an update regularity of a timing offset parameter.
