Sports information gathering and broadcasting system
Systems and methods of gathering, processing, and distributing information of a sporting event over a wireless network covering the sporting event, including a first portable device carried by a spotter of the sporting event to acquire global positioning system (GPS) data corresponding to the first portable device, to receive input data regarding status of the sporting event from the spotter, and to transmit the GPS and input data over the network, and a second portable device carried by a patron of the sporting event to receive the transmitted data, and to selectively display graphical representations of the transmitted data according to an input from the patron.

METHOD OF AUDIO/VIDEO BROADCAST PLAY OUT HANDOVER AND CORRESPONDING APPARATUS
Handover of broadcast audio/video content from a first/source device via an intermediate device to a second/destination device. The intermediate device is set up to receive by its own means the same broadcast audio/video content as received by the first/source device. If interruption of play out of the audio/video content by the first/source device is detected by the intermediate device, the intermediate device stores the received audio/video broadcast in timeshift memory. When a presence of the second/destination is detected, the intermediate device connects to the second/destination device and starts timeshifted streaming to the second/destination device.

Networking systems, protocols, and methods for controlling target devices
Systems and methods are provided for controlling electric and electronic devices. The devices may communicate with each other in a many-to-many, peer-to-peer network to provide control functionality without the need for a central controller. Device-to-device control messages may be implemented over short range, wireless broadcast messages.
SYSTEM WITH A COMPANION DEVICE AND A PRIMARY DEVICE
The present invention relates to a method for a companion device to receive current service information from a primary device comprising: (a) said companion device receiving from said primary device an emergency alert message including at least one of: (i) an identifier of said emergency alert message that uniquely identifies said emergency alert message; (ii) a date when said emergency alert message was generated together with a time when said emergency alert message was generated; (iii) a content format defining a content type of an initial said emergency alert message; (iv) a content of said emergency alert message received given by initial content element; (v) a URL which provides initial emergency alert message content for accessibility; (vi) an additional URL which provides additional information about said emergency alert message; (vii) a phone number for obtaining additional information about said emergency alert message; (viii) an e-mail address for obtaining additional information about said emergency alert message; (ix) a received additional emergency alert containing a continuation of another said emergency alert message; (x) a received one of a new or a repeat said emergency alert message; (xi) a received said emergency alert message that is not repeated; (xii) an identifier of said primary device; (xiii) a version of said primary device.

Yogurt Bin
A yogurt bin for holding a plurality of individual dairy cartons of yogurt includes a floor, two sidewalls, a first end wall and a second end wall. The two sidewalls are attached to the floor. At least one of the sidewalls has at least one finger slot therein. The finger slot is dimensioned to allow access to individual dairy cartons positioned near the finger slot but not to allow an individual dairy carton to pass through the finger slot. The first end wall is attached to the floor of the bin. The first end wall has a stop near the floor of the bin and a handle attached to the sidewalls positioned near the top of the bin. The second end wall is also attached to the two sidewalls.
Systems and methods for syncronizing multiple electronic devices
Embodiments are provided for syncing multiple electronic devices for collective audio playback. According to certain aspects, a master device connects (218) to a slave device via a wireless connection. The master device calculates (224) a network latency via a series of network latency pings with the slave device and sends (225) the network latency to the slave device. Further, the master devices sends (232) a portion of an audio file as well as a timing instruction including a system time to the slave device. The master device initiates (234) playback of the portion of the audio file and the slave devices initiates (236) playback of the portion of the audio file according to the timing instruction and a calculated system clock offset value.
