AUDIO DEVICE, AUDIO SYSTEM, AND SYNCHRONOUS REPRODUCTION METHOD
An audio device includes a signal input interface, a first output interface, a second output interface, at least one processing circuit configured as a buffer control portion, at least one memory configured to store an audio signal. The buffer control portion sets a second reading position at a position that precedes a first reading position of the first output interface by delay time, and, when starting output of the audio signal, writes silent data for the delay time in the memory and sets the first reading position at the head of the silent data.
Method and system for caching content for mobile distribution
Method and system are provided for mobile distribution of content received via satellite signals. A satellite reception assembly may comprise a receive module and a basestation module. The receive module may receive satellite signals, process the received satellite signals to recover data carried therein, determine when the recovered data comprises a portion for local wireless broadcast by the system, and if so generate broadcast signals for carrying the portion of recovered data. The basestation module may transmit the generated broadcast signals, particularly to a mobile device of a satellite subscriber authorized to receive and access the data carried in the satellite signals. The recovered data may comprise web-based content.

Audio input and output device with streaming capabilities
Methods, systems, and computer program products that provide streaming capabilities to audio input and output devices are disclosed. An audio processing device connects an upstream device to a downstream device. The upstream device is plugged into an input port of the audio processing device. The audio processing device intercepts a signal from the upstream device to the downstream device. The audio processing device converts the signal to digital data and streams the digital data to a server. The digital data can include metadata, e.g., an input gain. The audio processing device can adjust the input gain in response to instructions from the server. The audio processing device feeds a pass-through copy of the audio signal to an output port. A user can connect the downstream device in a usual signal chain into the output port of the audio processing device. The streaming does not affect the user's workflow.
Hearing device with wireless interface
There is provided a hearing device (10) comprising a BTLE 4.1 or higher wireless interface (20) and a control unit (38) for handling connectivity via the wireless interface to a plurality of client devices (40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 54, 56) wherein the control unit is configured to direct the hearing device to transmit connectable advertising packets at least as long as less than N client devices are connected to the hearing device via a protected connection (30) and less than N+1 client devices are connected to the hearing device in total; wherein the control unit is further configured to prevent that the hearing device maintains sustained connections to more than N client devices at a time by disconnecting, if the hearing device is connected to N client devices via sustained connections and at least one of these connections is not a protected connection, one of the client devices connected via a not protected connection once a new sustained connection to a client device has been established in addition to the N connections, with N2.

SHORT RANGE ADVERTISING SYSTEM
Aspects of an advertising system are disclosed herein. In one example there is disclosed an advertising system. The system includes at least a short-range communication beacon associated with at least one business; and an advertisement (ad) generator, the ad generator comprising a user interface for receiving advertising inputs from the at least one business, the advertising inputs at least including promotional information about the business; a processor configured to generate at least one advertisement (ad) for the at least one business based on the promotional information; and a communication interface configured to receive a signal that includes at least one identifier of the short-range transmitter proximate a mobile communication device and associated with the at least one business. The communication interface sends at least one generated ad to the mobile communication device, based on the received transmitter identifier, for display thereon.
