A near field communication system can include a near field generator configured to generate a near field detectable information signal. The near field generator and supporting circuitry also produces incidental electromagnetic radiation. A masking signal transmitter is used with the near field generator and radiates a masking electromagnetic signal. The masking electromagnetic signal may substantially mask the incidental electromagnetic radiation.

A wideband chaotic waveform that is rateless in that it may be modulated at virtually any rate and has a minimum of features introduced into the waveform. Further, the waveform provided may be operated below a signal to noise ratio wall to further enhance the LPD and LPE aspects, thereof. Additionally, the present disclosure may provide a mix of coherent and non-coherent processing techniques applied to signal samples to efficiently achieve coarse synchronization with a waveform that is faster, more efficient and more accurate than using time domain signal correlators alone.

Various examples are direct to computer-implemented systems and methods for providing an artificial multispectral metadata generator. A method includes receiving, by a computer system, an input data set, and determining attributes of the input data set to be transformed, retained, anonymized, or dropped. For the attributes to be transformed, the computer system generates three or more random noise sets, using at least two noise generation methods. An amalgamated random set is created from the three or more random noise sets using a programmable ratio, and the system uses the amalgamated random set to create an artificial data set that can be used to gain insights from the input data set without having access to the input data set.

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for a privacy blocking device configured to prevent receipt, by a listening device, of video and/or audio data until a trigger occurs. A blocker may be configured to prevent receipt of video and/or audio data by one or more microphones and/or one or more cameras of a listening device. The blocker may use the one or more microphones, the one or more cameras, and/or one or more second microphones and/or one or more second cameras to monitor for a trigger. The blocker may process the data. Upon detecting the trigger, the blocker may transmit data to the listening device. For example, the blocker may transmit all or a part of a spoken phrase to the listening device.

A symbol power tracking amplification system including: a modem to generate data and symbol tracking signals; a symbol tracking modulator including a control circuit, first and second voltage supply circuits and a switch circuit, the control circuit generates first and second voltage level control signals in response to the symbol tracking signal, the first voltage supply circuit generates a first output voltage in response to the first voltage level control signal, the second voltage supply circuit generates a second output voltage in response to the second voltage level control signal and the switch circuit outputs the first or second output voltages as a supply voltage in response to a switch control signal; an RF block to generate an RF signal based on the data signal from the modem; and a power amplifier to adjust a power level of the RF signal based on the supply voltage.
SECURE COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL
A method of transmitting a message from a sender (101) to a receiver (102) is provided, wherein the communication between the sender (101) and receiver (102) is performed using a hybrid automatic-repeat-request (HARQ) protocol. Artificial noise is added digitally to a first data packet in order to trigger transmission of a second data packet. Corresponding artificial noise is added digitally to the second data packet such that the receiver device (102) can process the data packets together to remove the introduced artificial noise and extract the desired message. Also disclosed are methods where artificial noise is added to a predetermined set of plural data packets in a similar fashion.
Distortion reduction circuit
An apparatus includes a sampling circuit, a sense circuit, and a tuning circuit. The sampling circuit samples an input signal according to a sampling clock signal to produce a sampled signal. The sense circuit determines a scaling factor based on a distortion in the sampled signal caused by the sampling clock signal. The tuning circuit generates an offset signal based on the sampling clock signal and the scaling factor. The offset signal reduces the distortion in the sampled signal caused by the sampling clock signal.
