The signal processor determines that the radio wave signals are the deceiving signals by determining that a relative positional relation between the first antenna and the second antenna calculated on a basis of the radio wave signals deviates from an actual relative positional relation between the first antenna and the second antenna by more than a predetermined amount, and also determines whether an orientation of the aircraft determined based on positions of the first antenna and the second antenna matches an orientation of the aircraft calculated based on an inertial navigation system.

Techniques are disclosed for determining the presence of pulse jams in an identification friend or foe (IFF) system. In an embodiment, a plurality of jamming pulse rates are determined. Each of the plurality of jamming pulse rates is a count of jamming pulses entering the IFF system during a corresponding integration period. Each of the plurality of jamming pulse rates is a count of jamming pulses associated with non-valid signals entering the IFF system. An average jamming pulse rate is computed based on the plurality of jamming pulse rates. The average jamming pulse rate is then compared against a pulse jam threshold to determine whether a pulse jam is present (or not present) in the IFF system.

The signal processor is configured to determine whether four or more multiple radio wave signals that are received by the first antenna and the second antenna and each signal indicate a transmitting position and a transmitting time of the signal are the multiple navigation signals or deceiving signals.

System, method, and apparatus for detecting and jamming wireless devices

A system provides for radio frequency detection of an offending device within a specific range of a body worn device. Upon detection of the radio frequency signal, the body worn device jams communications by the offending device and optionally communicates to an infrastructure to alert of the presence and optionally the location of the radio frequency signal, and therefore the offending device. In some embodiments, the user and/or location of the body worn device is/are revealed and the source of the radio frequency signal is readily determined for confiscation of the offending device. Other optional features include locating/tracking of the body worn device (and wearer) detection of tampering with the body worn device, and detection of cloaking of the body worn device (e.g. submerging in water or covering with aluminum foil, etc.).
