REACTIVE JAMMING DETECTION
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to device, method, apparatus and computer readable storage media of reactive jamming detection. The method comprises in accordance with a determination that an interference to the first device is to be detected, determining at least one set of actual receiving powers at the first device on a bandwidth and a frequency of a channel associated with a transmission of the first device within a time interval; determining at least one set of reference receiving powers at the first device on the bandwidth and the frequency; and in accordance with a determination that a difference between the at least one set of reference receiving powers and the at least one set of actual receiving powers exceeds a threshold difference, determining the first device is interfered by reactive jamming. In this way, the malicious device that does not respect the LBT procedure in unlicensed bands can be recognized and meanwhile the devices using a different technology while respecting the LBT procedure can be allowed to access the channel.
DFS radar detection
A method for determining presence of a radar includes receiving a plurality of bursts in a dynamic frequency selection (DFS) channel of an access point, storing the plurality of bursts in a queue, in response to the queue comprising a threshold amount of bursts, determining a timespan of a first burst in the queue to a last burst in the queue, partitioning the timespan into at least a first group and a second group, determining a first number of bursts present in the first group and a second number of bursts present in the second group, in response to a difference between the first number of bursts and the second number of bursts equaling more than one, determining the radar is not present, and in response to the difference between the first number of bursts and the second number of bursts equaling one or less, determining radar is present.
Methods and systems for enabling end-user equipment at an end-user premise to effect communications when an ability of the end-user equipment to communicate via a communication link connecting the end-user equipment to a communications network is disrupted
A method for effecting communications, such as telephone calls, accesses to data network sites, alarm system communications, and/or other communications, over a communications network. The method comprises: determining that an ability of first end-user equipment at a first end-user premise to communicate via a first communication link connecting the first end-user equipment to the communications network is disrupted; establishing a wireless communication link between the first end-user equipment and second end-user equipment at a second end-user premise; and causing information transmitted by or destined for the first end-user equipment to be exchanged over the communications network via the wireless communication link and a second communication link connecting the second end-user equipment to the communications network. Also provided are apparatus and computer-readable media containing a program element executable by a computing system to perform such a method.
Detecting network jamming
A method in a wireless device comprises monitoring one or more aspects of signaling with a network for abnormal signals indicative of network jamming. The method comprises detecting, based on the monitored one or more aspects of signaling with the network, one or more abnormal signals indicative of network jamming.
DISTRIBUTED RATE ALLOCATION AND COLLISION DETECTION IN WIRELESS NETWORKS
A hybrid cellular and non-cellular multi-hop communication device, including a hand-held wireless device having one or more antennas, a cellular wireless interface connected to at least some of the one or more antennas, and a non-cellular wireless interface connected to at least some of the one or more antennas. The non-cellular wireless interface may include a rate allocator configured to select a physical-layer rate of transmission of data from the non-cellular wireless interface based on a queue length of data to be transmitted from the hand-held cellular device and a transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit data from the queue and adjust physical-layer transmission parameters based on a physical-layer rate selected by the rate allocator.
Object detection apparatus, object detection method, and computer readable medium
A reception unit receives, with an ultrasonic sensor, received signals including a reflected wave obtained when an acoustic signal emitted from a mobile body is reflected by an object. A disturbance judgment unit judges whether a jamming attack in which a jamming signal is transmitted from outside is being made, on the basis of the received signals. An object detection unit detects an object in surroundings of the mobile body on the basis of the received signals if it is judged that no attack is being made and does not perform object detection if it is judged that an attack is being made.
COOPERATIVE MONITORING NETWORKS
An electronic monitoring system is described that receives data from a particular monitoring system, receives data from multiple other monitoring systems, analyzes data received from the particular monitoring system irrespective of data received from the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the analysis, determines whether one or more events occur at the particular environment, and in response to determining that a particular event occurs at the particular environment, evaluates the particular event against a set of rules, selects, based on the evaluation results, a particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems to serve as a cooperative monitoring network, assesses data received from the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the assessment, tracks, in connection with the particular event, events detected by the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, and handles the particular event based on the tracked events.
