20180003800 · 2018-01-04 ·

Systems and methods for identifying a synthetic track are provided. In one embodiment, a method can include receiving, by one or more computing devices, a plurality of emissions from one or more platforms. The emissions can be generated in an emission sequence and are generated to create a track indicative of an object travel path. The method can further include determining, by the one or more computing devices, whether an irregularity associated with the track exists based at least in part on one or more of the emissions. The method can include rejecting, by the one or more computing devices, the track as an actual object travel path when it is determined that the irregularity associated with the track exists.

DIGITAL CAPACITY CENTRIC DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEM

Disclosed herein is an architecture for a Digital Capacity Centric Distributed Antenna System (DCC-DAS) that dynamically manages and distributes resources in different locations where there is demand for capacity. The DCC-DAS also allows for the routing of resources to other applications such as location finding devices, jamming devices, repeaters, etc.

ALGORITHM AND TECHNIQUES FOR HIGH-RESOLUTION INTERFERENCE PARAMETER ESTIMATION IN LOW-SWAP ENVIRONMENT

Techniques for providing a multi-stage iterative scheme to determine fine granularity estimates of parameters of an interfering signal and for using the fine granularity estimates of the parameters to reduce an impact of the interfering signal against a signal of interest (SOI) are disclosed. An input signal is identified. A first set of estimation parameters that provide a coarse granularity estimate of a center frequency of the jamming signal and of a symbol rate of the jamming signal are determined. The first set of estimation parameters are refined to generate a medium granularity estimate of the center frequency and the symbol rate of the jamming frequency. The medium granularity estimates are also refined to produce a fine granularity estimate of the center frequency and the symbol rate. The fine granularity estimates are used to remove or reduce an influence of the jamming signal on the input signal.

A system architecture for managing resources in a communication network comprises in combination at least the following elements: a plurality of radio equipments working in a given frequency band and with identical frequency hopping rules; the radio equipments are managed by a master device; and a radio equipment comprises at least: a radiocommunication module that carries the radiocommunications; a module suitable for tapping, monitoring and intercepting radio signals in the environment and for recording them locally in a database; a module suitable for disrupting non-authorized communications; and a local “3 in 1” management module receiving the orders emitted by the master device, the management module being suitable for controlling the various modules of the radio equipment; a radio-router module; and a tapping and monitoring module.

Electronically Steerable Parasitic Array Antenna Process

A process for an electronically steerable parasitic array (ESPAR) antenna includes operating the ESPAR antenna with a receiver in Normal Mode until an internal flag is generated by the receiver indicating jamming RF noise preventing Normal Mode operation, causing the ESPAR antenna to switch to Anti-jam Mode. Anti-jam Mode includes a Search Mode and a Track Mode. The ESPAR antenna is steered in Search Mode, causing the ESPAR antenna to beam in a circular pattern to locate a spatial direction of the jamming RF noise, identify the spatial direction of the jamming RF noise preventing Normal Mode operation, and place a null in the spatial direction of the jamming RF noise. The ESPAR antenna switches to Track Mode to maintain the null in the spatial direction of the jamming RF noise until the jamming RF noise is not present. The ESPAR antenna then returns to operating in Normal Mode.

Communications with distance authentication

Distance-based authentication is provided for mitigating undesirable interaction and/or attacks upon ranging systems, such as those involving vehicle entry or secure payment. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, a leading edge of one or more pulses in a waveform of a signal is obscured as part of distance-based authentication. For instance, noise may be generated via a noise modulation circuit and combined with some or all of a leading edge of a pulse. Distance-based authentication is provided by transmitting a signal with a waveform having the obscured portion of the leading edge, which operates to mitigate detection of the polarity of the leading edge or otherwise of the leading edge itself.

NFC tags with proximity detection

Systems, apparatuses and methods provide for detecting the proximate placement of an external NFC reader to a specific location on a display surface. The display surface can be intended for viewing indicia and enabling interaction with an NFC communication device embedded within the display. A circuit can control an NFC security system that can scan for unauthorized tags affixed to the surface of a display. The NFC security system may be activated by an NFC enabled mobile phone placed proximate to the indicated region for receiving an NFC coded message from the display. An NFC security scan can be performed prior to the mobile phone reading the message from the intended NFC tag in the display. Enabling interactive display modes can allow for making selections indicated on the display or detecting motion gestures across the face of the display.

Anti-eavesdropping method for IoV based on intermittent cooperative jamming

Disclosed is an anti-eavesdropping method for the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) based on intermittent cooperative jamming. The method comprises: on the premise of effectively preventing an illegitimate user V.sub.e from information eavesdropping, first establishing optimization problems for the purpose of minimizing an energy consumption of a cooperative jamming user V.sub.j; analyzing unique communication characteristics of the IoV based on the Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments (WAVE) protocol, to obtain time structures of physical-layer data packets in the IoV and physical-layer data packet duration; and calculating the shortest physical-layer data packet duration in the IoV; then solving an optimal cooperative jamming scheme for any available power range for the cooperative jamming user V.sub.j; and finally, conducting, by the cooperative jamming user V.sub.j, periodic repetition according to the solved optimal cooperative jamming schemes in a period of data transmission between legitimate users, until transmission between the legitimate users ends.
