Robust broadcast via relayed retransmission

Systems and methods for broadcasting wireless data via one or more retransmission schemes to increase the packet reception in a wireless system. One or more devices of the system are configured to listen for an initial data packet from a source device. Should one or more devices successfully receive the initial packet, each device that received the packet can unconditionally retransmit a copy of the payload of the initial packet such that any device that failed to receive the initial packet payload has an opportunity to receive it during the respective retransmissions. Similarly, each device of the system can send acknowledgements to the other system devices that indicate whether they received the initial packet. Should one or more of the devices successfully receive the initial packet, the devices can conditionally retransmit a copy of the missing payload when one or more devices indicates they have failed to receive it.

The method includes: receiving, by a terminal equipment, downlink control information (DCI) of which CRC being scrambled by an SL-CS-RNTI; and when a dynamic grant resource scheduled by the downlink control information is not used to transmit sidelink retransmission, transmitting indication information via a physical uplink control channel indicated by the downlink control information, the indication information indicating success of sidelink transmission or that a network device is not needed to schedule retransmission.

GROUP CAST WITH RETRIES (GCR) FOR MULTI-LINK OPERATION (MLO)

Embodiments are disclosed for group cast with retries (GCR) in a multi-link wireless communications system. In some embodiments, an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) can exchange information with a non-AP MLD to establish a GCR-multi-link operation (MLO) agreement corresponding to a group address, wherein the information includes, but is not limited to: a GCR primary link or a GCR primary link set of the AP MLD, an association identifier (AID) that corresponds to the group address. In some embodiments, the AP MLD can transmit a GCR frame subject to the GCR-MLO agreement, where the GCR frame includes a sequence number assigned from sequence number space (SNS)_GCR_MLO defined at a MLD level, and generate a Group Temporal Key (GTK)_GCR_ML at the MLD level, where the GTK_GCR_ML enables encryption and decryption of the GCR frame.

Methods for Adaptive User Equipment Behavior for Cell Reconfiguration in NR-U
20220353938 · 2022-11-03 ·

A method by a wireless device includes receiving, from a network node, a command associated with a procedure to setup or release a cell or a signal. While transmitting a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ), feedback associated with the procedure to setup or release the cell or signal, the wireless device detects one or more clear channel assessment (CCA) failures on an uplink signal. The wireless device extends a transmission period for transmitting the HARQ feedback associated with the procedure to setup or release the cell or signal based on the one or more CCA failures.

Methods, systems and apparatus for scheduling of subframes and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback

Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive first uplink (UL)-downlink (DL) configuration information indicating a first UL-DL configuration, and may receive second UL-DL configuration information indicating a second UL-DL configuration. The WTRU may receive a physical downlink shared control channel (PDSCH) transmission in a DL direction of one or more first symbols in a first subframe. The DL direction of the one or more first symbols may be based on the first UL-DL configuration and the second UL-DL configuration. The WTRU may transmit first acknowledgement (ACK)/negative ACK (NACK) information in a UL direction of one or more second symbols in the first subframe. The first ACK/NACK information may be based on the PDSCH transmission. The UL direction of the one or more second symbols may be based on the first UL-DL configuration and the second UL-DL configuration.

Method and apparatus for signaling the release of a persistent resource

A method and apparatus for signaling the release of a persistent resource in long term evolution (LTE) are disclosed. An indication of the release of a downlink (DL) persistent resource is received by a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) from an evolved Node-B (eNB) via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). A positive acknowledgement (ACK) is transmitted by the WTRU which denotes that the indication has been received. The PDCCH or a medium access control (MAC) CE may be used by the eNB to signal the indication. At least one bit may be added to contents of the PDCCH to signal whether the PDCCH is for DL persistent or dynamic resource allocation. The DL persistent resource is then released and an indication that the DL persistent resource has been released is transmitted.

Method of detecting indicator information in wireless communication system

A method of detecting indicator information received by a receiver of a wireless communication system is provided, and the method includes determining a threshold value that reduces costs incurred by a false alarm rate that decides discontinuous transmission (DTX) information transmitted from a transmitter as non-DTX information and a missed detection rate that decides non-DTX information transmitted from the transmitter as DTX information; and detecting the indicator information using the threshold value. The threshold value is determined based on a reception quality level for acknowledgement (ACK) information when the transmitter transmits the ACK information.
