Enhanced retry count for uplink multi-user transmission
11581986 · 2023-02-14 · ·

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to an enhanced retry count for an uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission. A device may identify a trigger frame received from a first device on a wireless communication channel. The device may determine a quality of service counter associated with an access category. The device may cause to send a frame to the first device based at least in part on the trigger frame. The device may determine an error condition associated with the frame. The device may refrain from incrementing the quality of service counter based on the error condition.

There is provided a communication apparatus that complies with an IEEE 802.11 series standard, comprising: data transmitting unit for transmitting data frames each including a data unit to an other communication apparatus a plurality of times continuously; generating unit for generating a Block Ack Request (BAR) frame; BAR transmitting unit for transmitting the BAR frame to the other communication apparatus after transmission of the data frames the plurality of times continuously; and receiving unit for receiving a Block Ack (BA) frame as a response to the BAR frame, wherein the generating unit indicates a sequence number for a data unit in an initial data frame using a predetermined field in the BAR frame, and the predetermined field includes a different field from a Starting Sequence Number field in the BAR frame.

Techniques for enhanced machine type communication acknowledgment bundling

Techniques and apparatus for hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) bundling in half duplex frequency division duplexing (HD-FDD) systems are provided. One technique includes determining ACK parameter(s) to be used for acknowledging a bundled transmission that includes instance(s) of a channel across subframe(s). An indication of the ACK parameter(s) is signaled to a user equipment (UE). The ACK parameter(s) include a first ACK parameter that conveys a size of the bundled transmission and a second ACK parameter that conveys an amount of time for the UE to delay acknowledging a data transmission in an instance of the channel after receiving the data transmission. The UE may acknowledge the bundled transmission in accordance with the ACK parameter(s).

A communication device, processing device or method constructs M RLC PDUs including M RLC SDUs, respectively, where M is larger than 1; submits, for a transmission opportunity, only L RLC PDUs for L RLC SDUs with lowest L SNs among the M RLC PDUs to a MAC layer, where L<M and the L RLC PDUs include a first RLC PDU having a poll to trigger status reporting at a receiving device; transmits the L RLC PDUs to the receiving device; constructs a second RLC PDU including a second RLC SDU having a highest SN among SNs of RLC SDUs submitted to the MAC layer, when the poll retransmission timer started upon submitting the first RLC PDU having the poll expires and no new RLC SDU or RLC SDU segment can be transmitted.

Packet processing method and network device in hybrid access network

A packet processing method and a network device in a hybrid access network. The method comprises sending, by a first network device, a first data packet in a first sending window to a second network device by using a first tunnel. In response to receiving a first acknowledgement response sent by the second network device, increasing, by the first network device, a size of the first sending window based on a first proportion. In response to not receiving, within a first predetermined time, the first acknowledgement response, decreasing the size of the first sending window based on a second proportion; and in response to determining that the size of the first sending window is greater than or equal to a first threshold, sending a second data packet to a second receiving window of the second network device by using a second sending window.

According to certain embodiments, a method in a wireless device (110) includes transmitting a protocol data unit (PDU) or segment of a PDU on a first link and transmitting the PDU or the segment of the PDU on a second link. One or more retransmissions of the PDU or the segment of the PDU are scheduled on the second link. A positive acknowledgment is received from a receiver. The positive acknowledgement indicates a successful receipt of the PDU or the segment of the PDU on the first link. In response to receiving the positive acknowledgement, the one or more retransmissions of the PDU or the segment of the PDU on the second link are cancelled.

Contention window determination

A wireless device determines a reference duration for contention window adjustment. The reference duration is from a beginning of a channel occupancy and until an end of a first slot where at least one physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) is transmitted. The wireless device determines a contention window value based on one or more new data indicators (NDIs) of one or more first transport blocks transmitted during the reference duration. The wireless device performs a listen before talk (LBT) procedure based on the contention window value. The wireless device transmits one or more second transport blocks based on the LBT procedure indicating a clear channel.
