One aspect provides a power sourcing equipment controller for providing power to a powered device using power-over-Ethernet (PoE). The power sourcing equipment includes a voltage-output logic block to output a sequence of voltage signals, the voltage signals comprising at least a detection signal and a classification signal; a current-measurement logic block to measure current provided responsive to the voltage signals; a backoff-time-determination logic block to determine a backoff time in response to the current-measurement logic block detecting the provided current exceeding a predetermined threshold, the backoff time being determined based on an amount of time needed for discharging an internal capacitor associated with the powered device; and a timing logic block to cause the voltage-output logic block to delay the output of a next sequence of voltage signals based on the determined backoff time, thereby facilitating powering up of a device compliant with a different PoE standard.

A UE communicates with a network gateway to access a provisioning device via a provisioning network. The provisioning device uses identification data of the UE to authenticate the UE for a primary network, and provides primary network configuration data to the UE. Using the primary network configuration data, the UE communicates with the network gateway to access the primary network. The primary network configuration data can include data to enable the UE to establish communications with one or more private networks accessible via the primary network.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO ESTABLISH SERVICE REQUEST INTERACTIONS

Systems and methods of establishing service requests via a smart TV device are provided. A smart TV device can receive fault condition information. The smart TV device can establish a first communication session between the smart TV device and a server and can transmit a service request interaction, including the received fault condition information, to the server. The server can transmit the first service request interaction to a computing device in a contact center environment. The computing device can generate diagnostic information and can transmit the diagnostic information to the server, which can forward the diagnostic information to the smart TV device. The smart TV device can display a prompt to deflect the first service request interaction from the smart TV device to a mobile device of the user. The mobile device can establish a second communication session between the mobile device and the computing device in the contact center environment to complete the first service request interaction.

Remote secured terminal

A computer implemented method for providing communication between a secured client computer and a remote computer. There is provided a client computer that includes peripheral components. Each peripheral component is configured, by a processor, to process a corresponding peripheral component data of a data type that is not compatible with peripheral component data types processed by a processor of other peripheral components. The processor of each peripheral component is further configured to code the corresponding data of the specified data type. Each peripheral component is configured, by the processor, to establish a secured peer-to-peer communication channel between the peripheral component and the remote computer that is authorized to communicate with the client computer, and is further configured to code data that is communicated between the authorized remote computer and the peripheral component through the secured communication channel. The coded data being indecryptable by the processors of other of the peripheral components.

Secure session sharing between computing devices

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for authenticating a first computing device to access a secure account. Receiving a request from a second computing device to be authorized to access the secure account. Providing, to the second computing, first data that represents a first machine-readable code for presentation by the second computing device. Receiving, from the first computing device, second data that represents a second machine-readable code as read by the first computing device. Authorizing the second computing device to access the secure account in response to determining that the second data accurately represents the first machine-readable code as sent to the second computing device.
