Vehicle and method of platooning control therefor
A vehicle and method of platooning control therefor are provided to achieve optimum communication charge efficiency while a plurality of vehicles perform platooning. A data communication method of a platooning vehicle includes starting platooning by a plurality of vehicles and sharing data charge rate information through a first protocol for vehicle-to-vehicle communication (V2V) by the plurality of vehicles. A first master vehicle and at least one slave vehicle are determined based on the shared data charge rate information. An access point (AP) is then activated according to a second protocol for short distance communication by the first master vehicle and an AP of the master vehicle is accessed and data communication is performed by the at least one slave vehicle.
LIFESTYLE CONTINUATION MODEL USING A CAPACITY UNIT ARCHITECTURE
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media utilized in plan generation. One system includes a plurality of data channels configured to access activity data, a network circuit, and a processing circuit communicably coupled to the plurality of data channels via the network circuit. The processing circuit can be configured to detect, from a user device of a user via a first data channel, activity data, and generate new capacity units based on the activity data. Further, the processing circuit can be configured to determine a summation of the new capacity units and un-allocated capacity units is above a threshold for a first plan, wherein the un-allocated capacity units are based on previous activity data, generate the first plan based on the summation, wherein the first plan comprises a first coverage based on the activity data or the previous activity data, and allocate the summation to the first plan.
Systems and methods for establishing wireless connections based on access conditions
The subject matter described herein includes managing access conditions and determining which access point to use by a wireless device based on terms and conditions (TCs) for allowing access (TCsAA) and terms and conditions for utilizing access (TCsUA) provided and updated by various parties in a system for alternative network access provision (ANAPS) comprising of a cloud based server system and a wireless device and its connection manager software system. The TCs may depend on a number of variables including one or more of the following: price, availability, relative signal strengths and communication speeds of different cellular base pay and or access points and connections through the stations or access points to the Internet or other backend systems, the location and possible motion of the device, the time of day, week, month or year as well as the cost of communication alternatives.
Method for allowing control of the quality of service and/or of the service fees for telecommunication services
A method permitting the control of the service quality and/or service fees of telecommunication services in which several service nodes are involved. During the initiation and/or implementation of a communication service, an exchange of signaling data occurs between a communications terminal and at least two service nodes which are involved in the communication service. The control node detects whether the service data transmitted by the at least two service nodes relate to the very same communication service. Then the control node selects service data from the transmitted service data and uses these service data for controlling the service quality and/or service fees.
Dynamic point to point mobile network including origination device aspects system and method
A computationally implemented system and method that is designed to, but is not limited to: obtain information at least in part regarding one or more first aspects of one or more intermediate electronic communication devices for serving as one or more nodes of one or more standby point-to-point communication networks upon activation thereof for use by an origination electronic communication device to communicate at least in part with a destination electronic communication device, the one or more intermediate electronic communication devices having one or more second aspects as one or more mobile electronic communication devices. In addition to the foregoing, other method aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.
Information providing apparatus, information providing method, and communication system
An information providing apparatus includes: a map information storage unit which maintains map information with which at least one of position information, address information, and names of buildings or shops is associated; a communication parameter obtaining unit which obtains communication parameters associated with the position information; an image information creating unit which creates image information in which the communication parameters associated with the position information are described on the map information; and a display unit which displays the image information created by the image information creating unit.
Network path recommendations for services executing on cloud platforms
A network connectivity system identifies potential connection mechanisms between datacenter entities (e.g., between service instances) on the cloud platform. The network connectivity system provides recommendations including one or more connectivity paths that are preferred with respect to one or more indicators, for example, cost, latency, or security. Specifically, the network connectivity system receives a request to configure a network connection between a first service instance and a second service instance on the cloud platform. The first service instance and the second service instance may reside within the same or different datacenters, different geographical locations, and the like. A network connectivity system identifies, from network connectivity information, one or more connectivity mechanisms for establishing connection between a first datacenter entity (e.g., first service instance) and a second datacenter entity (e.g., second service instance).
Method and a device for hotspot leasing
A method and a device for hotspot leasing are provided. The method comprises: acquiring a data request packet transmitted by a requesting user (S11); based on a target data request packet acquired by a supplying user from the data request packet, transmitting hotspot information provided by the supplying user to the requesting user corresponding to the target data request packet, and establishing a hotspot leasing contract between the requesting user and the supplying user (S12). Therefore, demand docking is provided for both parties of leasing and selling by means of the data request packet, so that users with excess data provide data to users with data gaps. Urgent needs of one or more surrounding users are solved, near-field social contact for mutual assistance is established, and data utilization is improved.
Communication device, computer-readable storage medium, communication system, and communication method
Provided is a communication device capable of performing Internet communication by any of a first wireless communication method and a second wireless communication method. The communication device comprises a communication performing unit for performing the Internet communication by combined communication in combination of the first wireless communication method and the second wireless communication method, in accordance with establishment of a predetermined condition.
Method and device for controlling use of external data network via mobile access point
A method and a device for controlling external data network use via a mobile Access Point (AP) are provided. A host device set as the mobile AP determines whether a data-less mode is set, blocks a client device from using the external data network via the mobile AP, if the data-less mode is set, and permits the client device to use the external data network via the mobile AP, if the data-less mode is released. A client device connected to a mobile AP determines whether a data-less mode is set for a host device set as the mobile AP, if the client device is connected to the host device in a state of being connected to a wireless data network, maintains the connection to the wireless data network, if the data-less mode is set, and releases the connection to the wireless data network, if the data-less mode is released.
