Systems and methods for managing a network are disclosed. One method can comprise determining presence of a first network device associated with a network. If the first network device is not present, a second network device can be configured to assume authority of the network. If the first network device is present, the second network device can be configured to join the network. Other aspects relate to providing services in an environment having multiple service providers.

In the present disclosure, when a first home appliance is operated, the first home appliance is operated only when the total power consumption of the first home appliance and other home appliances that are already operating is less than or equal to a reference value.
Disabling WiFi disconnect on internet enabled appliances
A method for operating an appliance, the appliance including a user interface and a wireless connection module. The method includes establishing a wireless connection between the appliance and a wireless network via the wireless connection module, determining that the appliance is communicating with a remote server via the wireless connection module in response to establishing the wireless connection, and disabling a disconnect button on the user interface for disconnecting the appliance from the wireless connection in response to determining the communication between the appliance and the remote server.
DISABLING WIFI DISCONNECT ON INTERNET ENABLED APPLIANCES
A method for operating an appliance, the appliance including a user interface and a wireless connection module. The method includes establishing a wireless connection between the appliance and a wireless network via the wireless connection module, determining that the appliance is communicating with a remote server via the wireless connection module in response to establishing the wireless connection, and disabling a disconnect button on the user interface for disconnecting the appliance from the wireless connection in response to determining the communication between the appliance and the remote server.

Systems and techniques for solar energy management are described. A described system includes circuitry to determine a solar power generation value based on a power output of a solar power generator configured to supply electricity to a plurality of devices associated with a property; circuitry to determine a power consumption value of the plurality of devices; and a controller configured to determine a power status based on the solar power generation value and the power consumption value. The controller can be configured to selectively enable additional power consumption among the plurality of devices to an extent of the solar power generation value based on the power status indicating a power surplus state. The controller can be configured to selectively reduce power consumption among the plurality of devices based on the power status indicating a power deficit state.

Method and device for installing a node in a home network
A method is provided for installing a new node in a wireless home network having a client network and includes a node able to form a mesh network. A connection of a new node to the client network supplied by the home network node is detected, and an identifier of a client device that is connected to the client network is received. If the client device is known to the home network: the new node is notified that the client device that is connected to the client network must be disconnected from the client network; a connection of the client device to the client network supplied by the node of the home network is detected; and identifiers of the mesh network are transferred to the new node if the connection of the disconnected client device to the client network supplied by the node of the domestic network is detected.

ADAPTING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) ECOSYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
Adapting specifications of an artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem are adapted, using a computer, based on an existing AI ecosystem of a user. A login is received, at the computer having a remote-based account of a user, to a new AI ecosystem. Specifications are determined from an existing AI ecosystem of the user, and the specifications include preferences and historical data related to the existing AI ecosystem based on usage of existing machines. Adaptive functionality is derived, using the computer, for new machines in the new AI ecosystem. The adaptive functionality is based on the specifications including the preferences and the historical data for the existing AI ecosystem. The specifications including the adaptive functionality is applied to the new machines of the new AI ecosystem.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUGMENTING PRESENTATION OF MEDIA CONTENT USING DEVICES IN AN ENVIRONMENT
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining, from a network server device, first information regarding a first device, generating a media control package based on the first information, wherein the media control package relates to primary content to be presented, wherein the primary content is associated with a first timestamp that corresponds to a first event or context in the primary content, and wherein the media control package includes a first instruction for controlling the first device when a playback position of the primary content corresponds to the first timestamp, and causing the media control package to be provided to the network server device to enable augmentation of a presentation of the first event or context via control of the first device, in accordance with the first instruction, when the playback position of the primary content corresponds to the first timestamp. Other embodiments are disclosed.
