FEDERATED SERVICE REGISTRIES FOR ACCESS PROVIDERS
Techniques for federated service registries are provided. A first access server determines a first plurality of services available within a local network associated with the first access server, as well as a second plurality of services available at one or more remote networks. A request for a first service is received from a client device, where the first service is not included in the first plurality of services and is included in the second plurality of services. A tunnel is established from the client device to one or more remote networks.
INTEGRATED BROADBAND NETWORK GATEWAY (BNG) DEVICE FOR PROVIDING A BNG CONTROL PLANE FOR ONE OR MORE DISTRIBUTED BNG USER PLANE DEVICES
In some implementations, an integrated broadband network gateway (BNG) device may communicate management information with a particular distributed BNG user plane device. The integrated BNG device may communicate control packets with the particular distributed BNG user plane device. The integrated BNG device may communicate session control and state information with the particular distributed BNG user plane device. The management information, the control packets, and the session control and state information may be communicated via respective interfaces between the integrated BNG device and the particular distributed BNG user plane device. Accordingly, the integrated BNG device may provide a BNG control plane for the particular distributed BNG user plane device.
Broadband remote access server (BRAS) system-based packet encapsulation
A BRAS system-based packet encapsulation method includes obtaining user access information when receiving a user access protocol packet and performing VXLAN GPE encapsulation on the user access protocol packet based on the user access information. The encapsulation structure includes a user information header that is used to store the user access information, and a quantity of bytes occupied by the user information header is less than or equal to 12. In this application, the foregoing encapsulation structure is used to encapsulate a packet.
Communication Method, UP Device, and CP Device
This application provides a communication method, a UP device, and a CP device, and pertains to the field of communications technologies. In the method, the UP device reports interface information to the CP device by using PFCP. Specifically, the UP device carries the interface information in a PFCP message, and transmits the PFCP message to the CP device. The CP device can obtain the interface information of the UP device from the PFCP message, which ensures that the CP device can sense the interface information of the UP device.
ACCESS CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS
An access control method. A BNG CP may receive a first message from first user equipment. The first message is used by the first user equipment to request to access a network, a primary gateway through which the first user equipment accesses the network is a first BNG, and a backup gateway through which the first user equipment accesses the network is a second BNG. After receiving the first message, the BNG CP may determine, from a first network segment, an IP address assigned to the first user equipment, and send the IP address of the first user equipment to the first user equipment. The first network segment is only used to assign an IP address to user equipment that accesses the network by using the first BNG as a primary gateway and the second BNG as a backup gateway.
Configuration Error Information Transmission Method and Device
This application provides a configuration error information transmission method and a device. When generating a plurality of pieces of configuration error information after configuring a batch of configuration parameter groups, a user plane network element may report the configuration error information to a control plane network element based on reporting priorities of the configuration error information. According to embodiments, reporting can be performed based on the reporting priorities of the configuration error information. In this way, a user or the control plane network element can configure, by configuring the reporting priorities, an order of precedence of the configuration error information to be reported by the user plane network element.
Utilizing proxy internet protocol addressing in a gateway for communicating with multiple service provider networks
A gateway utilizes a proxy Internet Protocol (“IP”) addressing scheme to communicate with disparate network service providers. A first IP address prefix may be received from an alternative service provider in communication with the gateway. The gateway may assign a proxy IP address from the first IP address prefix for computing devices in communication with the gateway. A second IP address prefix may be received from a master service provider in communication with the gateway. The computing devices may be provisioned with an actual IP address assigned from the second IP address prefix. The gateway may then route data traffic utilizing the assigned proxy IP address between the alternative service provider and the computing devices utilizing the actual assigned proxy IP address. The gateway may further route data traffic utilizing the actual assigned IP address between the master service provider and the computing devices utilizing the actual assigned IP address.
Method of data retransmission in collaborative service transmission and access network gateway thereof
The present invention discloses a method of data retransmission in coordination service transmission and access network gateway thereof. Wherein, the method includes: in coordination service transmission, access network gateway receives the service data requested by the coordination terminal, caches the data and transmits it to the corresponding destination terminal; the access network gateway executes retransmission strategy, and when decides data retransmission is needed, retransmits the cached data to the corresponding destination terminal. The access network gateway is used to receive the service data requested by the coordination terminal, to cache the data and transmit it to the corresponding destination terminal, to retransmit the cached data to the corresponding destination terminal when data retransmission is needed. Using the present invention, to the problem of service data retransmission in coordination service transmission, the service data transmission efficiency is effectively improved.
