Lip synchronization of audio and video signals for broadcast transmission
11146611 · 2021-10-12 · ·

A multi-device lip synchronization method and a device. A secondary device receives an RTCP packet sent by a primary device. The secondary device corrects an STC of the secondary device based on a PCR in the RTCP packet, a program dock frequency of the primary device, a program dock frequency of the secondary device, and an RTCP delay. Then, the secondary device receives RTPs published by the primary device, splice the RTPs into a complete audio data frame, and store the audio data frame into a PCM buffer of the secondary device. The secondary device outputs the audio data frame in the PCM buffer.

EFFICIENT REMOTE PHY DATAPLANE MANAGEMENT FOR A CABLE SYSTEM

A cable distribution system that includes a headend connected to a plurality of customer devices through a transmission network that includes a remote fiber node that converts digital data to analog data suitable for the plurality of customer devices. The remote fiber node receiving a downstream external protocol interface packet that includes a header portion and a data portion in memory. The remote fiber node encoding and transmitting the data portion to at least one of the plurality of customer devices, wherein the data portion is transferred from the memory using direct memory access based upon a buffer descriptor for the encoding.

PUBLISH/SUBSCRIBE MESSAGING

Some embodiments of the present invention comprise a method, system, and/or computer program product for a publish/subscribe messaging system. A processor identifies a subscriber of a pub/sub messaging system. The processor retrieves a stored encrypted key for the identified subscriber of the pub/sub messaging system. The processor communicates the retrieved encrypted key to a user selected from a group comprising a publisher of the pub/sub messaging system and the identified subscriber of the pub/sub messaging system. The processor implements end-to-end encryption of messages of the pub/sub messaging system based on key-groups.

Address information obtaining methods and apparatuses are described. It is determined that a network element that supports a type of a first NF and that is in a first network slice needs to be accessed. The type of the first NF and information about the first network slice is sent to a network repository network element to obtain address information of the network element that supports the type of the first NF and is in the first network slice. Address information of a first network element is received from the network repository network element. The first network element is the network element that supports the type of the first NF and that is in the first network slice. A terminal can obtain the address information of the network element that supports the type of the first NF and that is in the first network slice.

Method and apparatus to perform multiple packet payloads analysis

A method and apparatus for identifying data patterns of a file are described herein. In one embodiment, an exemplary process includes, but is not limited to, receiving a data packet of a data stream containing a file segment of a file originated from an external host and destined to a protected host of a local area network (LAN), the file being transmitted via multiple file segments contained in multiple data packets of the data stream, and performing a data pattern analysis on the received data packet to determine whether the received data packet contains a predetermined data pattern, without waiting for a remainder of the data stream to arrive. Other methods and apparatuses are also described.

MULTI-DEVICE LIP SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD AND DEVICE

A multi-device lip synchronization method and a device. A secondary device receives an RTCP packet sent by a primary device. The secondary device corrects an STC of the secondary device based on a PCR in the RTCP packet, a program clock frequency of the primary device, a program clock frequency of the secondary device, and an RTCP delay. Then the secondary device receives RTPs published by the primary device, splice the RTPs into a complete audio data frame, and store the audio data frame into a PCM buffer of the secondary device. The secondary device outputs the audio data frame in the PCM buffer.

Data distribution platform

In a processing entity receiving one or more streams of data points from at least one data generating device; receiving, from a client device, a stream request indicating at least one of the data streams and including information indicating a stream modification; translating the information indicating a stream modification to selection criteria relative to the data points of the at least one data stream; modifying the at least one data stream by filtering the data stream based on the translated selection criteria; and providing the modified data stream to the client device.
