Devices and methods for multipath communications
Broadband communications devices and methods operate with at least two separate communication paths between the devices and the network, such as the Internet. The broadband devices and methods receive data concurrently over the communication paths or separately. The bandwidth is increased when the separate communication paths are combined. The broadband devices employ packetized data with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies combined with RF communications technologies.
Method and system for protecting privacy of users in session recordings
A computer system is provided. The computer system includes a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to scan user interface (UI) data representative of a plurality of UI controls; detect a portion of the UI data associated with private information, the portion corresponding to a UI control of the plurality of UI controls; record first session data comprising an obfuscated version of the UI control and unobfuscated versions of other UI controls of the plurality of UI controls; record second session data comprising an unobfuscated version of the UI control; encrypt the second session data to generate encrypted session data; and store the encrypted session data in association with the first session data.
Apparatus and method for network automation in wireless communication system
Disclosed is a 5.sup.th generation (5G) or a pre-5G communication system provided to support a higher data transmission rate than that of post-4.sup.th generation (4G) communication systems, such as long term evolution (LTE). A method of operating a network node in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a plurality of first network nodes, network data, generating first recommendation operation information for a second network node based on the network data, and transmitting, to the second network node, a first analysis result message including the first recommendation operation information.
Bus converter
A device for coupling a fieldbus to a local bus for connection to at least one data bus subscriber, the device comprising a first unit that is connectable to the fieldbus and is adapted for sending and receiving data via the fieldbus; a second unit that is connectable to the local bus and is adapted for sending and receiving data via the local bus in at least one data packet; a data management unit that is connected to the first unit and the second unit, wherein the data management unit is adapted for transferring first symbols from data received via said first unit to said second unit in a sequence-dependent manner; and wherein the second unit is adapted to send at least one data packet including the first symbols on the local bus. In addition, a corresponding method for transferring data is described.
Systems and methods for controlling a non-interfering mode in a telematics device
Methods and systems for enabling or disabling a non-interfering mode in a telematics device are provided. The methods may include determining by a telematics server that a telematics device coupled to an asset communications bus of an asset may enter or exit a non-interfering mode. The methods may also include detecting the presence of a diagnostic tool on the asset communications bus.
Unified data repository (UDR) messaging in a wireless communication network
In a wireless communication network, a Unified Data Repository (UDR) is served by a UDR Message Function (UMF). The UMF receives a UDR message that relates to a User Equipment (UE) for delivery to a network function. The UMF writes the current UDR message to a UDR message queue for the UE. The UMF determines when the UDR message queue stores multiple UDR messages that relate to the UE. When the current UDR message is the only message in the message queue for the UE, the UMF transfers the current UDR message to the destination network function. When the message queue for the UE stores multiple UDR messages for the UE, the UMF stops message transfer from the queue and prioritizes the UDR messages in the message queue. The UMF restarts message transfer from the queue and transfers the UDR messages to the network functions based on the prioritization. The UDR message queue stores the UDR messages under control of the UMF.
MULTIPLE ANTENNAS AND INTERRUPTION TIME VALUES FOR SOUNDING REFERENCE SIGNAL (SRS) SWITCHING
A user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) on a component carrier (CC) that is otherwise configured for downlink communications. Due to a carrier aggregation configuration or UE capability, the UE may need to retune certain components to transmit on the CC. If the SRS transmission, including the retuning time, collides with another transmission (e.g., in uplink or downlink) the UE may drop the SRS, drop the other transmission, or puncture the other transmission to facilitate the SRS transmission. The determination about a collision may depend on the retuning time, channel, or type of control information in the other transmission. In some cases, a UE may drop the other transmission if transmitting the SRS would prevent the UE from transmitting a demodulation reference signal, hybrid automatic repeat request (HARD) feedback. In some cases, the determination may be based upon a prioritization and may also depend on a subsequent subframe.
Multicast Group Allocation Method, Centralized Control Point, and Multicast Router
A multicast group allocation method, a centralized control point, and a multicast router are provided. A centralized control point determines a correspondence between at least two multicast groups and at least two RPs in a rendezvous point set according to information about the at least two multicast groups and information about the at least two RPs, where in the correspondence between the at least two multicast groups and the at least two RPs, each RP is corresponding to a same quantity of multicast groups; the centralized control point evenly allocates the at least two multicast groups to the at least two RPs according to the correspondence between the at least two multicast groups and the at least two RPs and diffuses the correspondence between the at least two multicast groups and the at least two RPs to all multicast routers on a PIM network.
