Homogenizing tooling for a heterogeneous cloud environment

A method, system and computer-usable medium are disclosed for controlling access to a node deployed in a cloud environment. A new node, based upon a common image, is created in a cloud computing environment. A unique set of randomized system parameters are then generated for the new node, which is then mapped to a set of generic system parameters. A request to access the new node is intercepted, which contains the generic system parameters. The intercepted access request is then parsed to extract the set of generic system parameters, which are then replaced with the unique set of randomized system parameters associated with the target node to generate a modified access request. The modified access request is then forwarded to the target node.

System and method for providing a partition file system in a multitenant application server environment

In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing a partition file system in a multitenant application server environment. The system enables application server components to work with partition-specific files for a given partition, instead of or in addition to domain-wide counterpart files. The system also allows the location of some or all of a partition-specific storage to be specified by higher levels of the software stack. In accordance with an embodiment, also described herein is a system and method for resource overriding in a multitenant application server environment, which provides a means for administrators to customize, at a resource group level, resources that are defined in a resource group template referenced by a partition, and to override resource definitions for particular partitions.

Resource management method, resource management system and resource manager

The present disclosure provides a method and related devices for domain name bandwidth adjustment. The method includes: receiving domain name bandwidth information reported by each on-site bandwidth management server and based on the domain name bandwidth information, determining a target domain name having the domain name bandwidth exceeding a specified bandwidth threshold; determining a to-be-adjusted bandwidth corresponding to the target domain name, and allocating the to-be-adjusted bandwidth among a plurality of sites; determining a bandwidth control threshold of the target domain name for the corresponding site; and generating a flow control instruction containing the bandwidth control threshold, and sending the generated flow control instruction to the on-site bandwidth management server at the corresponding site, where the on-site bandwidth management server adjusts the domain name bandwidth of the target domain name in each node server at the site.

Resource indication method, and related device and system

This application discloses a resource indication method, and a related device and system. The method includes: generating resource indication information, where the resource indication information is used to indicate a reference signal resource allocated to a terminal device in a reference signal resource group in which the terminal device is located among a plurality of reference signal resource groups; and sending the resource indication information. According to the foregoing solution, flexibility of configuring the reference signal resource can be improved, so that better resource sharing is implemented and resource overheads are reduced.

Method and system for processing NF component exception, and device

A method and a system for processing an NF component exception, where the method is applied to a network including user equipment, a first NF component, a second NF component, and an NF repository management function component. The method includes: receiving, by the NF repository management function component, an NF discovery request message that includes an identifier of a set to which the second NF component belongs; determining, by the NF repository management function component based on the identifier of the set to which the second NF component belongs, that a third NF component having a same function as the second NF component exists in the network; and sending, by the NF repository management function component to the first NF component, a first message that includes an identifier of the third NF component.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO CONTROL A CROSS DOMAIN WORKFLOW BASED ON A HIERACHICAL ENGINE FRAMEWORK

Provided are a system and method for controlling a workflow across domains on the basis of a hierarchical engine framework. Inventive workflow control makes it possible to configure a flexible hierarchical engine framework and provide a workflow service with low latency. Also, the system and method make it possible to control a workflow by building an engine and a data pipeline across domains.

Virtual network abstraction

A method of defining a virtual network across a plurality of physical hosts is provided. At least two hosts utilize network virtualization software provided by two different vendors. Each host hosts a set of data compute nodes (DCNs) for one or more tenants. The method, at an agent at a host, receives a command from a network controller, the command includes (i) an identification a resource on a tenant logical network and (ii) an action to perform on the identified resource. The method, at the agent, determines the network virtualization software utilized by the host. The method, at the agent, translates the received action into a set of configuration commands compatible with the network virtualization software utilized by the host. The method sends the configuration commands to a network configuration interface on the host to perform the action on the identified resource.

Load balancing for IP failover

Techniques are provided for load balancing for IP failover. A backend address of a first node is identified as a routing destination to which a request is to be routed by a load balancer based upon a load balancer rule mapping a frontend address, specified by the request as a request destination, to the backend address of the first node. The request is routed to a primary network interface of the first node using the backend address. The first node has a loopback interface with an address matching the frontend address for routing the request to a destination data structure based upon the request maintaining the frontend address as the request destination. Health probes are used by the load balancer for detecting a failure of the first node in order to failover to routing requests to a second backend address of a second node.
