Feedback signaling for wireless communication
There is disclosed a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network, the method comprising transmitting feedback signaling including feedback information, the feedback information being encoded with an error coding scheme, wherein an error coding size of the error coding scheme is dependent on a type of the feedback information. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.
RECEIVING DOWNLINK CONTROL INFORMATION THAT INDICATES CODEBOOK IDENTIFIERS
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI) that includes a request for a dropped hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook, wherein the DCI indicates a codebook identifier (ID) associated with the dropped HARQ codebook. The UE may transmit, to the network node, the dropped HARQ codebook based at least in part on the codebook ID associated with the dropped HARQ codebook, as indicated in the DCI. Numerous other aspects are described.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND RETRANSMISSION CONTROL METHOD
Provided is a wireless communication device. A PHICH reception unit determines whether a received signal in a PHICH region is an ACK signal or a NACK signal. When doing so, the PHICH reception unit does not receive a PHICH in a subframe in which a terminal monitors an E-PDCCH. A control signal reception unit outputs a retransmission prompting signal to a signal allocation unit when the signal outputted from the PHICH reception unit is a NACK signal and when a UL grant was not detected. Meanwhile, when a UL grant was detected, the control signal reception unit outputs the detected UL grant to the signal allocation unit. The signal allocation unit maps the transmission signal in accordance with the retransmission prompting signal and the UL grant and transmits the transmission signal from a wireless transmission unit.
UPLINK FEEDBACK METHODS FOR OPERATING WITH A LARGE NUMBER OF CARRIERS
A method and apparatus for uplink feedback for operating with a large number of carriers are disclosed herein. A method in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) includes receiving a plurality of transport blocks over a set of a plurality of configured carriers, generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) feedback for the transport blocks and determining a number of HARQ-ACK feedback bits to use for the HARQ-ACK feedback. Further, the WTRU may apply, to the HARQ-ACK feedback bits, Reed-Muller coding on a condition that the number of HARQ-ACK feedback bits is less than or equal to a threshold or convolutional coding on a condition that the number of HARQ-ACK feedback bits is greater than a threshold. The WTRU may then transmit the encoded HARQ-ACK feedback bits. In addition, the WTRU may conditionally append cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits onto the HARQ-ACK feedback bits, and encode and transmit the CRC bits.
Method and apparatus for transmitting reception confirmation response of user equipment in wireless communication system
A method for transmitting acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information of a user equipment (UE) configured with two serving cells including a first serving cell and a second serving cell, the method including receiving two transport blocks (TBs) through a downlink subframe of the first serving cell, receiving one TB through a downlink subframe of the second serving cell and transmitting ACK/NACK information informing ACK/NACKs for the two TBs and the one TB through an uplink subframe of the first serving cell, wherein the ACK/NACK information informs the ACK/NACKs for the two TBs and the one TB by a combination of one resource selected from a plurality of candidate resources and two bits transmitted through the one resource.
Radio communication apparatus and radio communication method
Provided is a radio communication device which can make Acknowledgement (ACK) reception quality and Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) reception quality to be equal to each other. The device includes: a scrambling unit (214) which multiplies a response signal after modulated, by a scrambling code “1” or “e.sup.−j(π/2)”, so as to rotate a constellation for each of response signals on a cyclic shift axis; a spread unit (215) which performs a primary spread of the response signal by using a Zero Auto Correlation (ZAC) sequence set by a control unit (209); and a spread unit (218) which performs a secondary spread of the response signal after subjected to the primary spread, by using a block-wise spread code sequence set by the control unit (209).
Method and apparatus for transmitting response information on feedback resources
Provided are a method and apparatus for transmitting information, and a storage medium and a terminal. The method includes: determining, on an uplink feedback resource unit within a first downlink resource range currently occupied during downlink transmission, whether first response information corresponding to the first downlink resource range is successfully transmitted to a base station, wherein the uplink feedback resource unit includes a resource unit for transmitting the first response information to the base station; when the first response information is transmitted unsuccessfully, determining a target feedback resource unit within at least one second downlink resource range subsequently occupied during the downlink transmission; and retransmitting, on the target feedback resource unit, the first response information to the base station.
Downlink assignment index (DAI) updates for piggyback downlink control information (DCI)
Certain aspects may be implemented in a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes determining a counter downlink assignment index (cDAI) to be included in each of a plurality of downlink control information (DCI), each of a first subset of the plurality of DCI being on a control channel, and each of a second subset of the plurality of DCI being on a data channel, each of the first subset of the plurality of DCI scheduling one of the data channels, and wherein each of the control channels and the data channels is on a cell of a plurality of cells, the determination of the cDAIs being based on order of the cell, with respect to the plurality of cells, on which each of the cDAIs is to be transmitted; generating and outputting for transmission the control channels and data channels in accordance with the determination.
