11715367 · 2023-08-01 · ·

A system is disclosed for managing a set of electrical/electronic devices for driving fans of a heat exchanger of a refrigeration plant, having a basic control unit adapted to act as interface between a remote control unit/Master unit and a plurality of electrical/electronic devices to be controlled. The basic control unit has a data input to receive inputs from the remote control unit/Master unit and a plurality of data outputs connectable with respective electrical/electronic devices of the electrical/electronic devices. The basic control unit is configured to address the electrical/electronic devices using management signals to program the operating parameters of the electrical/electronic devices, and to directly manage the operation. The management signals include addressing, programming and management commands previously programmed in the memory unit based on specific applications and communication protocols. The basic control unit manages the data outputs independently from the other data outputs, to manage the electrical/electronic devices independently.

Demand/Response Mechanism in a Wireless Sensor Network

A wireless sensor network at a monitored location can be configured to generate sensor channel(s) of data to assess operational conditions at the monitored location. Inputs based on the sensor channel(s) of data are provided to a host system for analysis of a demand to one or more resources at the monitored location. Response messages can be generated based on the demand analysis and transmitted to actuator(s) at the monitored location to effect an adjustment to the operational conditions.

Efficiently collecting and distributing multicast data

A more efficient method of data collecting using multicast instead of individual slave-by-slave requests for data defines a multicast address through a master station. Slave stations are divided into feature groups according to their feature value and a mapping relationship table between the multicast addresses and the feature groups is established. Data request frames from the master station to the slave stations include a destination address which is parsed by all the slave stations, and if the destination address is the same as the multicast address in the mapping relationship table, the slave stations in the feature group associated with the destination address transmit data in response to the master station, the data request being discarded by other slave stations which are not associated.

Apparatuses and associated methods for load bank and power generator control are described herein. In one aspect, a method for controlling a load bank can include: receiving input via a human-machine interface (HMI) corresponding to setpoints of operation for the load bank; receiving data via a power quality analyzer and corresponding to load bank operating parameters; determining, via the power quality analyzer, whether the load bank is operating according to the setpoints of operation received from the HMI; and generating a set of commands for adjusting the load bank operating parameters based on whether the load bank is operating according to the setpoints of operation.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a data transmission method and associated devices. In the method, data collected by at least one monitoring device in a substation is received at a gateway. Further, a status of a connection between the gateway and a first network is detected, where the first network enables communication between the gateway and a server. Further, in response to detecting a disconnection between the gateway and the first network, the data is sent to a user device via a second network hosted by the gateway to enable the user device to forward the data to the server.

The presentation of sensor network information can be provided to a user via a customized dashboard web interface. The dashboard web interface can be based on customized transformation and alert functions that can be applied to one or more sensor channels of data produced from sensors at a monitored location. The customized alerts can provide real-time monitoring of targeted conditions at the monitored location.

System, method and apparatus for remote wireless sensor device configuration

A configured mode of operation of a wireless sensor node unit can selectively activate a first subset of sensor channels of data and selectively deactivate a second subset of sensor channels of data. The configured mode of operation customizes the sensor functionality in the wireless sensor node unit in support of the delivery of data streams to customers.

DATA COLLECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, MODBUS SYSTEM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A data collection method and apparatus, a Modbus system, and a storage medium, and pertain to the field of communication technologies. In embodiments, one or more pieces of block data are collected at one-time interaction between a master and a slave, and a maximum amount of data carried in each piece of block data is 256. In the Modbus system, one piece of data is represented in a minimum of 1 byte, so that the data carried in each piece of block data can be up to 256 bytes. If a plurality of pieces of block data are collected at one-time interaction, an amount of data that can be collected is much larger than 252 bytes limited in a protocol. That is, in the embodiments, a larger amount of data can be collected at one-time interaction.
